an iPhone chat app to enable chatrooms... or a mobile version of the site.
That is planned........... when the chat app is redesigned.
an iPhone chat app to enable chatrooms... or a mobile version of the site.
Unicode fonts in the chat room.
A tab or something that lets us see who is in what room so we don't have to go room hopping to find out. Like if I was looking for a certain person, I could click the tab and find out from there what room they're in.
I Agree with Jimmy, do my laundry...lol..jk.
But I agree with Firefile. want to be a wife... it is a thread already posted.. 1stillwater.... and Christiancollegegirl.....
And what Brandon is asking for... if not a disable option... maybe fix it where it does not interrupt what some one is doing.... I want to through my computer,,, it is beyond frustrating. very very annoying. If I am typing and some one change the screen... everything I was trying to type do not register. I have to look at the keyboard when I type, so i do not know when someone has changed the bible version screen... so when I look up and there is nothing there after that I typed.... so I just have to wait till I get the mic.. or keep typing over and over again......
or you can give me typing lessons where I can keep an eye on the screen and dont have to keep resetting my cursor in the messenging box....
That last one is an awesome idea, Scotty.
Robo, I think i have several things to mention! Just thought I'd list them all in one post
1) To the right of the volume bar, it has the word "Volume." You can type in that spot. I was wondering if there was a way to keep that from happening. I've seen several users become confused because they would accidentally click on that instead of the text box and type there without realizing it. Later they would be like "Why does it say "lumelol" next to my volume bar, or something like that. It's not really important but thought I'd mention it.
2) What would be cool is a way to PM somebody that is on your CC friends list from different rooms! For example: Say I'm in the Bible Study and Ashnash is in the Lounge. I would be able to click something and it would show all my friends that are on chat at the moment and I would click on her name and be able to PM her without actually having to leave the room and miss out on the study!
3) Perhaps a way to report a user in the chatroom. Like a report button next to the ignore button in the pm box or something like that. So if there were trouble in the chatroom, and it would pop up to a mod or something, we could just report the trouble-maker instead of having to go hunt down a mod.
That's all I can think of right now

And as for #2, okay, good idea, we'll try to make that possible, but I'm not sure, it maybe depends on how our new chat system will be designed on the server side.
Don't know how big the interest is for that, but since we have a women's chat to have a chat room for men only, where guys can come and discuss things they might not want to share when women are around? Just an idea.
Hey RoboOp, I just suggested a new forum, one dedicated completely and solely to glorifying and praising God in different ways. The whole suggestion thread is viewable here. It should only take 30 seconds to read.
Thanks!
When I read Scotty's suggestion for #2, this is what I visualized.
I have a suggestion! A mens only forum!! Sometimes I have things I would like to seek advice for but sometimes things can be too embarressing to mention where women can see them! That way people can actually answer questions and give advice on their own and I won't have to ask somebody in PM and that person may not have had experience and stuff. .. I'm sure you get my point! haha
Hmmm okay... alright since we have a women's forum, then I guess we should consider adding a men's forum as well.
We DON'T actually have a womens chat room. We have a FORUM - big difference.
Yes, women are asking for a room, I believe it is being 'considered (no promises)', however, I personally am not in favour of the idea.
I was speaking in faith, since Robo already mentioned that they might add a women's chat ...
Anyways, why don't you like the idea?
