Refer to Mt 18:19 'Again I say to you, if two agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven'. There is something about two people praying and expecting the same thing based on a promise from God. Something else may be to write down things on little index cards or similar about the other person you'd like improvement on. Put them all in a pile each picking up a card and reading it and see what happens. It would be informative if the thoughts are worded lovingly and prayerfully. Also ask any Christian friends you guys have to intercede in prayer for your marriage.

Find Scriptures on marriage and protection then claim them by Faith in prayer. Just look up God's promises online for both these needs and thank God that He is listening and will help. Jesus instructs us not to fear and not to worry. Why? Because once we've prayed we then put our trust in His goodness.
