Can One Lose Their Salvation?

It means that he never knew them. It doesn't mean that He once knew them because then He could not say 'never.' Is English your second language, because you really are having a lot of trouble with it . . . besides the maybe three other times, at least, that you have asked this same question.

If you knew me you'd know I am not an arrogant prideful person. At that point of my post you refer to I was tired of people upholding the imaginings of their own mind as to what it means to be saved, or not.
At this point also, I really don't care if people believe and live the idea they have to labor to stay saved. Fearing they're really not saved should they falter in the task and find themselves damned at the end of their days.
Live it! Defend it! Look forward to the judgment such a one thinks they deserve. When people who think they can lose their salvation, some thinking one mistakes sends them back to damnation as a sinner, they're telling us they don't believe God's word that says just the opposite. Why then would such a one be persuaded to change their mind by our words?
Not only is the effort to change those minds futile, the dead horse is so dead that our clubs can only descend upon that horse shape that remains outlined in the dust. And personally, my arms are tired of swinging.
People live the gospel they believe they deserve.
How can we argue people out of self-knowledge? When God's word can't bring them to the knowledge of his truth?

God did not tell us to let people believe whatever we want, God told us to always be ready to give an answer, in season and out. And to stand against false teachers..

AMEN......amazing how many yank this out of context, flatly and ignorantly ignore the verbiage and use of NEVER KNEW and then try to say this means they were saved and lost it....it is rather idiotic at the end of the day.........THE wicked go astray from the womb and one whom JESUS NEVER KNEW does NOT = ONE who was saved and then lost it..............

Some people believe we can lose our salvation, some not. We have to learn more, It is not an easy topic.

The Bible speaks of three tenses of our salvation. Past, present and future.
In the past we WERE saved at the Cross of Calvary.
In the present we ARE BEING saved from the present, evil world (Galatians 1:4).
In the future we WILL BE saved from the very presence of sin (Revelation 22:3).
Multitudes of believers are struggling with the present tense of their salvation and might even be said to have lost it as they have allowed themselves to be overwhelmed by the world, the flesh and the devil (compare Romans 7 and 8).
Happy, overcoming Christians are walking in the Spirit while sad, defeated believers are walking in the flesh.
Our rewards in heaven are based on what we do in this present evil world, though some will be in heaven, with very little to show for it. Yet, they SHALL be saved, yet so as by fire . . . I Corinthians 15.

That will be a glorious day and I suspect some people that had argued all their lives (that eternal security was not true) will reconsider their doctrinal stance as they stand there in their glorified body and simply say, "Dang!" (or words to that effect).
And because I am who I am, I'll probably go up to a few of them and say, "Told ya!"
