Wow Deade thank you for sharing that. Awe PTL for that cousin and your family, especially for Him.
You know it is funny. We were expecting maybe a different solution to the gas problem. I was quite ready to run a couple of hours on fumes if that is how God wanted it. We seem to have a notion in our heads that God needs our help performing the miracles. Then He turns around and does it quite differently. Duh!

We got into Oakland on a Wednesday night and we didn't know quite what to do but go to a church. I drove all the way to downtown Oakland and found a phone book, because the Lord was telling me a church with Bible in the name. I see many churches with Bible in the name.

I'm still scratching my head and my wife says look for one just as we entered Oakland from the South. I ask why. She says the Lord was telling her for us to pull off the interstate as soon as we got into town. She said she was afraid it wasn't the Lord. I told her to stop doubting and speak up. We were used to me getting most of the directions.

We found Oakland Bible Church just North of San Leandro a few blocks. We got there as services were just starting. When they asked for testimonies, I stood up and shared that the Lord brought us there for mission work. The church was all black and I am sure they wanted our story. After services the pastor approached us and said I know just the lady you are looking for. She has a mission and she needs help. We were invited to park in their driveway at the parsonage house next door to the church. It had a stocked kitchen and bathrooms. They had no bed for sleeping, we we had those in the van. God is certainly good.

Samuel traveled and ministered in a circuit between three cities. Can you name all three?

Did Samuel have any siblings?
I know this is yes. Without looking it up I think his mother had four more 2-boys 2-girls. She was barren when she asked for a child and promised to dedicate it to God. It was 3-sons but that might include Samuel.

Correct, Deade! :)(y)
Yes, Samuel had siblings. He had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Great job!

1 Samuel 2:21
And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the Lord.

1 Sam. 7:16 "And he went from year to year in circuit to Bethel, and Gilgal, and Mizpeh, and judged Israel in all those places."

Did Samuel ever marry and have any children?
Yes, he had two sons that he set up as judges and they turned bad just like Eli's sons did. The following is an excerpt from my second book:

When Samuel got old, he set up his two sons as judges. “And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: They were judges in Beersheba. And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment” (I Samuel 8:1-3). Don’t you just hate it, when that happens?
You are doing good Lafftur, I am going to take a little break. Go ahead and ask the next one also.

1 Cor. 6:12 "All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any."

What was the king's name that put Daniel into the lion's den?

Matthew 17:9 Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

See there - Jesus said - Tellevision to no man!
I guess ladies can watch television but not men: but the part I missed that this was only until Jesus rose from the dead! So I guess TV is OK after all!
