Some people do...........like you, I dunno why, but, some people do.

To be honest, I took Ibuprofen for quite some time before a Doctor finally told me NOT TO. Now I take Tylenol. He said Ibuprofen was not good for my kidneys........I have Stage 2 Kidney Disease (well, me and millions of others).

I think most painkillers have their advantages and disadvantages.

My aunt has a low dose of aspirin every morning on prescription.
It has a mild blood thinning effect and can cut down on strokes.
But it also causes irritation to the stomach lining so she also has to
take meds to counteract the use of the long term use of the aspirin.

ibuprofen is a good anti inflammatory and pain killer, plus it has
The advantage of being able to taken at the same time as paracetomol,
which again is part of a different pain killer family.

When I did my back in I used both ibuprofen and paracetamol at the same
time.

But long term inuprofen can also cause stomach problems so you shouldn’t
have it on an empty stomach or for long periods unless prescribed.

Paracetomol seems to have less side effects, it’s the only painkiller
my elderly aunt is allowed to take with all her medical ailments.
But it is easy to overdose if you don’t carefully follow the directions.
A small overdose can impact the liver.

So it’s a case either way of choose your poison according to the aliment and
other interactions.

I can't take Ibuprofen combined with the Meds I'm on........funny how it depends on what Med one is taking....

both of them will raise your blood pressure. so, if you have an issue with that, just keep that in mind.

I have used antibiotics just once in my life.

Three separate and distinctly individual statements require three answers do they not?

:)

1) (re painkillers) Until what happened to me happened to me in March of 2016 neither did I.....Prescription that is. Do you partake of alcoholic beverages? If so, you may have to revise that statement. :)

2) On the occasion they were prescribed to me, I used antibiotics......Dentist what not....

3) Yes. But that would still be true if the previous two statements had not been made, right?

(in a world of weird.......I be a citizen)

nor are you.............so, why can we not agree to disagree on spiritual things and respond to each other in a Christian way?

Ok with me.................who knows? we could have at least ONE meaningful discussion.
