Can a Christian believe in Noahs flood not being Universal?

I hate to admit this but I think yes to the question. But BIG YEAH PEOPLE STILL ARE SAVED IF THEY DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE UNIVERSAL FLOOD!!! I have been saved since 1991 and I use to believe in the gap theory, growing in G-d and knowledge of Scripture over these years have convinced me of literal creation. But to be Saved we have to believe in and have faith in Messiah as the ONY WAY, TRUTH and LIFE and our sin against G-d.... Not all of Scripture... that comes in time, growing in Him. But the flood was universal!
God, Who shows no favoritism, gave Jezabel time to repent. God gives us time to grow and learn. I have learned and changed my mind about somethings that scriptures have revealed to me. I do not think that God holds it against us during the allowed time period. But if we reach the end of our time here, and still refuse to believe what God says in His Word, then in that case yeah, we're in danger of hell fire. Because God counts disbelief the same as disobedience.

So if I believe the earth is 6000 years, and it was 6 billion years old. And I believe in a world wide flood. And it was really a partial flood. i will go to hell??

Yeah, But no one will go to hell because they did nto understand what all of th ebible said, If that was required. There will be few people in heaven
"He who knows the good he ought to do (such as believe what God says in His Word) and chooses not to do it, sins." If you have knowledge of what God said, yet choose not to believe it, this is disobedience, this is not "well done good and faithful servant."

Everyone sins, Including yourself. If sin will cause a believer to go to hell. Then we will all end up in hell

Yes, all Christians visit sin, but no Christian lives in sin, otherwise they would no longer be Christian but worldly. I have a brother who lives with the belief that Paul was not a true apostle of Christ, and therefore anything he wrote is not true scripture- which is most if the new testament- that he feels he need not follow. To make this error in judgement is one thing, but to constantly live with the stance that most of God's new testament word to us is a lie is to deny God Himself.
Not likely. However theological liberals (who may or may not be saved) believe in evolution, no universal Flood, no miracles, no supernatural, etc.
If a person cannot believe that Noah's Flood was worldwide, why should he or she believe the Gospel? After all it is the same written record from Genesis to Revelation. The Gospel is as much beyond human reason as anything else that is supernatural.

The world at some point looked very different with the continents joined together.
The earths land masses do look like a giant jigsaw puzzle.
So it’s nor far fetched to believe in the universal flood.

I personally don't believe the flood was world-wide in scope. Often, when the bible says "all the earth", its doesn't mean global, but is referring to a specific area affected by what's being described. The deluge was huge, but imo limited to the wickedness which infected the descendants of Adam, it was all the land they occupied that flooded. Therefore, Noah did not take 2 of every species on earth, but only those animals indigenous to his area.

You forgot the Higher Critics, who dismissed everything in the OT as legendary, mythical, fables, and nonsense. They attacked the Bible at every opportunity, and they dismissed the supernatural as a view held by primitives. They claimed that Moses did not write the first five books of the Bible (the Torah) and talked about redactors (editors) and how there were different scribes who wrote different parts of the Torah.
Their influence filtered down into the mainline denominational churches, and they became theologically liberal. Now they are all apostate. But the Bible is still true.

If the bible errs on the flood, then what else did it err on? You can't pick and choose what you accept from the bible. It has to stand as totally reliable or totally unreliable. If unreliable maybe it got salvation wrong. Making the bible unreliable in one part can only lead to skepticism in EVERY part. It is 100% reliable.
And besides, sea fossils have been found in the Grand Canyon.
