Do you write any of your own music?

Can one of you play bass guitar?

Usually, we only use music that already exists but occassionally one of our guitarists will come up with parts of songs. He's not committed enough to writing them, to actually finish them and will just expirement with different lyrics and melodies. And yes, my bf plays the bass guitar..

I used to want to be song writer. I’ve pretty much given up on that, I guess.

I've tried, and come up with a few for the piano but never transposed them to the guitar. I'm not that great at coming up with songs and would much rather play them, than be the mastermind behind the writing. Why'd you give up?

I want to sound good when I sing and play my guitar, and a big part of that is performing good songs. I don’t think my songs are all that good.

That's kinda how I feel about mine...Have you ever tried playing yours for someone?

Yes. I do monthly music programs at a nursing home and do solos in church sometimes. I also sing in the church choir. How about you?

I play for the members of my band, for friends and family, and occasionally I play for my residents at work. I played piano for a couple of concerts too and once played for a theatre production, but only because my bf knew the director of the production and both convinced me to. I also sing, but pretty much everyone runs and hides when I do..

Lol, we'd be better off just playing the music without singing otherwise we might upset everyone enough to have them call the cops and we'd recieve a fine for disorderly conduct!!

Lol, once I made someone fall asleep while I was playing the piano, but I'm not that good at guitar. If I had more time to devote to practicing the guitar, maybe I'd be better.. Didn't you say you played guitar?
