This country is coming apart at the seams now. The country is now secular and progressives have taken control of the Democrat Party and all civility and compromise is out the window. Conservatives are attacked verbally, financially, and physically by the very aggressive progressives. It gets worse daily. Sexual lies are told about people and sworn to until the truth makes the light of day but the damage was done.
AA woman who is part of the Trump administration was run out of a restaurant by the waitresses. A man in a band was fired for wearing a MAGA hat. There are videos of people wearing a MAGA hat being attacked physically. Civility is gone.
The concept of I disagree with what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it is gone!!

Submission to Governing Authorities

Trump is doing good things but like the boy with his thumb in the dike it is too little too late. The country is already secular and the progressives have taken over the Democrat Party. That means their way or the highway. No compromise. Conservatives and liberals could get together and come up with a compromise plan. Liberals out and no compromise. The U.S. is a secular society and always has been, the country is based on law and with a clear division between church and state.
There is no government mandated religion.
The fact that founding fathers had a religious view, as did some the settlers, does not translate into the United States being a Christian nation.

Amen brother, I know the power of Jesus and it is no different today than it ever was, other than how blessed we are with things like travel capability, food production and storage, ready water supply at the twist of a knob, sewage systems, medicine, lights, the list goes on and on . I also read that He is seated At the right hand of God, it is finished, All authority in heaven, and on earth is His, and He is truth so cannot be refuted by any mean, but I also do not think that any amount of "age of the earth", debates, or on evolution will convince anyone, although I love that stuff too, and I love seeing the truth all fit together perfectly, but the problem is mans hard heart in the flesh.
The fallen man does not want God, and like us all, can only interact with the world in every way by the flesh, that's what "born to the flesh" means and is the condition to which we are all born. Only the truth, Jesus the Christ, can change anyone, and He does so through His people (us), He changes us and tells us "go", and tells them "come", we plant seed and water, and He gives the growth.
Back to the being seated thing, He is seated and God's right hand, ruling until ALL enemies have been made His footstool. I am commanded to "go make disciples of all nations", and like the mustard seed, like the leaven through the 3 measures of meal, He will rein until EVERYTHING is under Him, and every knee will bow and tongue confess. I believe He already has all victory and we are to spread the good news until everything is under His feet, I'm not looking for defeat (just had to through the rhyme in there). I have of course felt His power through my rebirth and reconciliation with God, praise Jesus name, but now He has even blessed me with seeing personally the power of proclaiming His glorious truth and seeing it truly sink in and break them, it is amazing and I know where it comes from, and am just in such awe that He can take someone like me, so unworthy, such a wicked heart and use me for His glory, oh my goodness His power is so good. While I have to go a step higher and say, I don't think it's too late for the world, I believe it's all His, He had all victory, and has all authority and will rein until all is under the name above all name Jesus. Praise Jesus our King and Savior.
Oh I could go on forever, but I love all of you guys and pray He draw each and everyone of us ever closer each minute of every day, and use us for Your glory as we were created to. Amen

Not my point and I did not say the U.S. is.....just that it has been perceived as such and from this NATION many Christian and so called Christian religions or ways have been propagated to the rest of the world.......and the primary reason for the settlement of America was for the sake of religious freedom to WORSHIP as we PLEASE <---NOT of God by the way.....
