In contrast to the many faithless in love who will have thought they had faith in the Lord, to whom the Lord will respond that He never knew them and to get away from Him (Matthew 25:41-46); we then have others who will have thought they had little or no faith in the Lord, but whose actions will show that they always had faith in love (Matthew 25:35-40).

Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Further proof that you miss the mark....Love is a process of growth and maturity after one has already been saved...it has nothing to do with gaining, keeping or facilitating salvation.....He never knew them because they did not come by faith, but rather a cafe blend of faith and works for.......Paul said that view has no power to save anyone, is a false gospel, double cursed and all who believe it have been bewitched and are foolish.......

Everyone speak of faith ,faith but do we really know what the word faith in the Lord really means? Faith is when we put all our trust in God without wavering. Being able to submit all our worries, troubles, pains, emptiness, crises in God 's hands
Psalm 125 :1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. When you put all ur trust in God you won't be shaken cause you are sure that it is all well taken care of and He know what is best. We are christians but our thoughts keeep on raining; how will I pay for my institution fee, How will I take care of thus children, this bills, and many more random worries. Hello? I thought you said you where a christian, I thought you trusted me with your worries I thought you knew I have your interest at heart, I thought you knew there is nothing I am unable to do. Just a reminder when ever we break, feel like giving up, feel like its too heavy I can'nt do this anymore. Jesus weeps He does because it breaks His heart when ever we doubti Him, when we feel we are alone while His always there. FAITH is standing firm in the Lord during crises without wavering .
The answer to your first question is is resounding " NO " !

The church world today has no clue what " Faith in the Lord " really encompasses . It seems to have been lost forever .

God is love, and those who love, God knows (1 John 4:8 &16), and they who do not love, do not know God, and God does not know them.
Those in Matthew 25:34-40 who thought they did not know Christ but knew love are they whom the Lord will testify knowing, while
those in Matthew 7:22-23 and 25:41-46 to whom God tells to get away from Him that He never knew them, are they who never knew love.
It's pretty strait forward.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

It is not that we LOVED HIM, but that HE LOVED US AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR US.....

I can quote scriptures as well.....the difference is I quote the in context when I go to prove something!

In effect you are denying that they who love, God knows, by claiming my statement corroborated by scriptures, being out of context.
