that was my point

but no worries

persecution coming for a reality check soon to your neighborhood
How is it to the point - we are not talking about Illinois, Iran are we?

No persecution coming to any Canadian neighbour hood.

oh please

do you suppose God thinks less of Christians who are under fear of their lives for their faith while we sit here and try to stuff more turkey and dressing into ourselves? *burp*

how is it so many Christians forget about everyone else in the world?

I think others understood what I was saying and so do you.

Which kinda defeats their point in this.
dude needs to do more research.

and their point is well taken. even 30 years ago, actual Christians would have got so up in arms about this satanic masterpiece, it would not have been allowed

it's creeping in just like all the other things God forbids

but think what you will

Freedom of religion doesn't mean just your religion. But like I already said several times on this post that's why religious monuments don't belong on State Property

is the equivalent of going to a buffet restaurant in feeling persecuted because someone else got to eat off the salad bar when he paid the price of admission just like you to did

If people are shocked about a sculpture then what r ppl gonna do when they someday see sacrifices and people getting bodies from graveyards. This is nothing yet

I don't know that the 1st amendment guarantees a place on a public platform. Sure it secures your and your group to practice unharrassed what ever you think appropriate. I think in order to have a place on a public platform you may should be required to have contributed in a significant way something to the well being of said public. For example a monument to Firefighters as opposed to me placing a monument to myself. Not that I don't contribute, but my contribution is not extraordinary.

Operative word, extraordinary.
Unless you think every single person should have a public platform for their beliefs.
Maybe every single person should go to Illinois and place a monument to their personal beliefs. If that's the argument.we could have millions of Christmas trees, crosses, and Jesus statues all jammed in the illinois public facilities.
