Did God who knew the outcome corrupt the first creation immediately ? 1st day, 2nd, 3rd etc ?

Genesis 6:12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it "was corrupt"; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

Could you maybe restate your question? It appears that you are inferring that God corrupted his creation, or at least that is what it seems to me to be asking.

I don't think the verse speaks to the planet, rather than the folks inhabiting it.

The world became "corrupted" the day Adam and Eve sinned/disobeyed God. That's it, end of story. :eek:

Genesis 6:12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it "was corrupt"; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

The corruption only refers to the wicked condition of the people, for it states that the people corrupted God's ways, His goodness, on earth.

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

Rev 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
Rev 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

Dan 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands(Jesus), which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
Dan 2:35 Then was the iron(Roman Empire), the clay(the nations coming together), the brass(Greece), the silver(Medo-Persia), and the gold(Babylon), broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

It is going to happen again for the devils are going to influence the wicked to follow the man of sin, New Age Christ, to rebel against God in which they will be continually wicked.

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Babylon, human religion, the occult, kingdom of man, Medo-Persia, physical cruelty, Greece, human wisdom, and the Roman Empire, pushing for territory, dominion, the ten horn kingdom, the world split in to ten sections with a leader in each section, which they shall devour the whole earth, break it in pieces, and stamp upon the residue of it.

Which those 4 kingdoms have not fallen yet for their ways are still on earth, and will fall when Jesus puts them down, so it is Babylon in spirit, and she represents the kingdom of man which they will not acknowledge a personal God, but honor the God of forces, or the power of nature as their higher power, and they can still evolve to be greater, and spiritual.

No. Fallible man had every reason NOT to disobey God, and do what he was supposed to do.

Adam could have easily (in a manner of speaking ) put a fence around the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and a huge sign which said VERBOTEN or its equivalent.

In any event, the day Adam sinned, a curse came upon all of creation, as well as mankind. That is confirmed here:

GENESIS 3: A CURSE ON EVERYTHING

14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Romans 8. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

you might think, but He looked on all of it and saw that it was very good

the fact of fallible man, is good. it is for the good of those who believe; it is for His glory and purpose.

cursed is the ground for thy sake
said Jesus unto them plainly,
Lazarus is dead, and I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe;
nevertheless let us go unto him.

The world is not corrupt. It is God’s creation and Christ’s domain!
This is true. God created a balanced survival system within this universe. It became corrupted by evil. When did evil first show up in this universe? With Satan's rebellion with his cohorts. We don't even know if the angels had ever experienced sin or evil other than God's definition of what not to do. How would they know evil was wrong until they saw the result played out.

I believe Satan (then Lucifer) had control of the earth when it became dark and empty through mismanagement. Then God imprisons him and his cohorts on the surface of the earth. Why didn't God put them on Mars or another planet (they are spirits - they don't need oxygen)? He put them right in the mix with His new work with mankind. God is using him as a tool for us to build character and fix our spirits. God is proving evil is wrong and will have undesirable outcomes.

There is something about operating in faith that fixes our hearts and establishes our characters so we won't ever choose another way. Satan and the fallen angels have established their characters in evil, there is no turning for them. They will always be evil until they are destroyed. Destruction is their best outcome. The same could be said for evil mankind. The following questions and answers let us know of God's plans.

Will this free will of men, angels and other beings produce new and new falls and rebellions against God for eternity? If not, why?
This is what God is doing, purging the universe of evil. That is the end condition.

Satan and angels knew and know about their end in the lake of fire and still they decided to rebel.
So... just a fear of punishment is not sufficient.
Scripture says God knows the end from the beginning, nowhere does it suggest angels do/did.

Any evidence for it? Even we, humans, using proper philosophy and logic can define God as a being that is impossible to overthrow. You have quite a low view of angels who were in heaven and of their knowledge.
This is all supposition, we didn't always have access to the philosophy and logic available today. You think the sinner has the goal to overthrow God when he starts in. No, sin creeps in little by little. Then self justification takes over to cover it up.

Again I say: This is what God is doing, purging the universe of evil. :cool:

“12 And God looked upon the Earth, and, behold, it was corrupt (“God looked” denotes a special observance, as though He had instituted an inquiry into its real condition [Ps. 14:2; 33:13-14]; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the Earth (the lineage of the entire race, due to the union of fallen angels and women, was marred. This was the plan of Satan to keep the Redeemer from coming into the world, Who could only function through an uncorrupted lineage. Other than Noah and his family, the entirety of the human race was polluted).”

My view....ignored by many I might add...

The word good in Genesis means usable or acceptable and does not equal our idea of good....God applies the word to everything made on the day it is made except for the heavens and man.....he later applies it generically to all that was made...

My view as to why he does this is two fold.

a. The prince of the power of the air was already here

b. Jesus was made in the form of sinful flesh as ADAM WAS....yet was without sin.

The earth and all made was ACCEPTABLE for God's purpose is ALL that Genesis states when the word Good is used....

The heaven was no because of A above and Adam was made in the fprm of sinful flesh which allowed the choice of rebellion....
