I don't think the verse speaks to the planet, rather than the folks inhabiting it.

The whole world groans in expectation of being clothed with the incorruptible. It would seem when the glory of the lord departed death began.

The world became "corrupted" the day Adam and Eve sinned/disobeyed God. That's it, end of story.

IN GOD THE SON,
bluto

Why not when he found sin as pride in the heart of Satan?

Was Adam an Eve brought into a corrupted world were all the rudiments corrupted .

My view....ignored by many I might add...

The word good in Genesis means usable or acceptable and does not equal our idea of good....God applies the word to everything made on the day it is made except for the heavens and man.....he later applies it generically to all that was made...

My view as to why he does this is two fold.

a. The prince of the power of the air was already here

b. Jesus was made in the form of sinful flesh as ADAM WAS....yet was without sin.

The earth and all made was ACCEPTABLE for God's purpose is ALL that Genesis states when the word Good is used....

The heaven was no because of A above and Adam was made in the form of sinful flesh which allowed the choice of rebellion....

I would suggest the word good defines God who is perfect. When God said it was good after each creation day he was putting his name as a seal of approval . Mankind made in his was also reckoned as good .I don't think he created anything in the first 6 days that were not good.

Remember when the Son of man who did dwell in the corrupted flesh of mankind was called good master .Jesus gave glory to the father unseen and declared only God is good. Good represents light . Evil darkness

“12 And God looked upon the Earth, and, behold, it was corrupt (“God looked” denotes a special observance, as though He had instituted an inquiry into its real condition [Ps. 14:2; 33:13-14]; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the Earth (the lineage of the entire race, due to the union of fallen angels and women, was marred. This was the plan of Satan to keep the Redeemer from coming into the world, Who could only function through an uncorrupted lineage. Other than Noah and his family, the entirety of the human race was polluted).”

There was no union between fallen angels and mankind. Two different kinds of Creations . different kinds cannot multiple . Angels cannot they have no DNA and is why they need DNA to put a face on . Like with Peter in Mathew 16:22-23 or the serpent in the garden.

Mankind is created in the image of God be fruitful and multiple. and the other not as and therefore not subject to salvation. No commandment to be fruitful no DNA seed .

As far as linage goes it is represented by that which is seen dying in process of aging and the return to the rudiments of this . The entire human race was corrupted . to include the men like Noah. Christ is not divided

The lineage of the entire race is not considered good . Again even when the Son of man Jesus was called good master. He gave glory to the Holy place in respect to His unseen glory . and said I believe in effect only God not seen is good. The Son of man refused to become a abomination of desecration standing in that good Holy place reserved for the glory of God alone.

When the linage of the Son of man came to the fulfillment it represented the unseen incorruptible seed Christ not many seeds the corruptible.

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

The promises was not made to the shadows flesh that pointed ahead to the substance we walk by faith the unseen not by sight as that seen. What we are as new creatures is not what we will be. Again not after any rudiment (molecule or atom to include flesh and blood of this corrupted creation by the oral traditions and philosophies of men.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, "but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever

Creation questions to [think about]

why did Angeles shout for joy when the earth was made?
was the earth and heavens maybe first made to be inhabited ?
when was satan made god of this this present world?
was there a time when "all creation" was not in bondage?
what was the Angeles original habitation [that they left] ?
what does tohu and bohu mean [heb.] ?
when did satan say in his heart: I will exalt [my throne]
[above] the stars of God...I will be like the Most High?
when did he say in his heart “I will ascend to the heavens" ?
what was satans first sin ?
when did Lucifer sin and become satan? "that old serpent"
when did satan fall from heaven ?
when did God shake the earth ?
when was the universe put in bondage[now in decay and futility] ?
when did the dinos get killed off by asteroids ?
why does the bible say six thousand years, but science says old universe?
when did God "renewest the face of the earth" ?
will God yet shake the earth again, also heaven ?

For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth
and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited:
I am the Lord; and there is none else.

“And the earth was [became] without form, and void
[Heb. tohu and bohu—chaotic, in confusion, waste and empty]

"Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom
by reason of thy brightness." Ezekiel 28:17.

"How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!

"Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in the ancient days,
in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?

"For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that he might destroy the works of the devil.

"Who verily was foreordained [before] the foundation of the world

Why should the whole universe—the creation—be waiting with eager longing
for the actual birth and appearing of all the sons of God, to be born ?

Will God " plant the Heavens" ?

True.

And in Genesis 1:31, God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.

The addition of the descriptive word "very" (Heb. מְאֹ֑ד mə-’ōḏ) emphasizes the excellency of God's creation prior to Genesis 3.

it was not a sin of the flesh that was the first sin, it was the 'adding to God's word'.
Adam was told not to eat of the fruit by God, then Adam tells Eve they are not to eat of it OR TO TOUCH IT.
That was the first rebellion.

The first rebellion was I will x 7.....and I seen you thumbs down my post....tell you what....go study Genesis 1 and 2 and then explain why the word GOOD is used to describe EVERYTHING GOD MAKES on the day he makes it except THE Heavens and man..........EVERY WORD OR A LACK THEREOF IS INSPIRED FOR A REASON!

Good could also mean "just as he planned".

You know....God applies it to everything made on the day he makes it except for the Heavens and Man.....why foes he leave off the word on those two particular days yet applies it to every other day...

I point this out and no one addresses it, rejects the obvious conclusions and or just flat sweeps it under the table.....

There is a reason for sure.....!!

Did God who knew the outcome corrupt the first creation immediately ? 1st day, 2nd, 3rd etc ?

Genesis 6:12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it "was corrupt"; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Our corruption began in Adam when he committed the first transgression in the garden.

To answer your question, I would say he did know the outcome. But to go even further, he also planned that it would happen, that the purpose he had in Jesus Christ may reach all of us who were to come after Adam.

All we know is that Eve told the serpent. That does not preclude Eve adding those words herself.

Eve also changed the imperative " dying thou shalt die " (Heb ּmō-wṯ tā-mūṯ) in Gen 2:17 (worded thou shalt surely die in KJV) to a less imperative lest ye die (Gen 3:3).

Did God REALLY say? Is that your question? Do you really want to go there knowing God sees you and everything you say, do and think??

Anyway, the gist is.......Eve was tempted and ate, Adam deliberately defied God and ate.
Then......Adam blamed Eve, Eve blamed the serpent......and then God took away their cushy paradise and sent them into the world.
This also was when the first blood sacrifice was made.....God clothed Adam and Eve in garments of skin to cover them. I think we can assume those skinis came from dead animals who blood was shed for the covering.

Los ? (Get it - Los Angeles o_O)

You might consider that the reference to the earth in Job is referring unto the body of matter that forms the expanse of space of this
physical world that was created on the first night when God said let there be light, when the sons of God that shouted and the morning stars sang, in the day when God saw the light.

Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Job 38:2

Have you ever seen a light above the brightness of the sun?

Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. Job 38:3

Or heard a voice without seeing a man?

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Job 38:4

Faith in the eternal comes by hearing and hearing by the immortal one; and you also shall bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning, as you can see written in John 15:27.

Amen, pleasant, agreeable, good...... as two walking together in agreement to one who definies His Holy unseen place as good. Good defines who God is. Only God is good.

You could say what he hoped for a worked by pronouncing the words "let there be light" and there was His will agreed as the pleasant outcome of His work
