You are WAY out on a limb.
Let me get my saw............
here is a small quote from wiki:
"Although nontrinitarian beliefs continued and were dominant among some peoples—for example, the Lombards, Ostrogoths, Visigoths and Vandals—for hundreds of years, the Trinity doctrine eventually gained prominence in the Roman Empire. Nontrinitarians typically argue that early nontrinitarian beliefs, such as Arianism, were systematically suppressed (often to the point of death)"

are they out on a limb to?

Mark 12 32-34
And the scribe said to him, “You are right, Teacher. You have truly said that he is one, and there is no other besides him. 33And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” 34And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And after that no one dared to ask him any more questions.
You are not far from the kingdom of God.”

For all his nearness to the Kingdom of God, it may be he never entered in. He was so near and yet so far. The same as the foolish virgins. Please do not be like the foolish ones.

Read the book of Revelation. When Jesus comes back, He's going to slaughter His enemies.
so if a preacher today took out a gun and started shooting anyone that questioned what he taught, its ok because revelation has a passage of Jesus killing his enemies?
you really think that passage means its ok to kill someone when they disagree with you? umm ok

YES they are wrong. You do know that Wiki only has answers that are posted by other people who may or may not KNOW.
Most of those you listed were pagans.
The Roman Empire was ruled by the Caesars who said they were god

Since you are not a Christian, what do you care?
Before you start trying to understand the infinite with your fjnite mind, you first need to be reborn.

You are a sinner separated from God by your sin
The only way to God is thru the shed blood of Jesus Christ
who paid the penalty for sin and satisfied God's justice.

The HIM you speak of, and who you undermine, is "God with us."

However some have "another Jesus." They are the ones who deny the divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ.

But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the purity which is in Messiah. For if, indeed one comes to you proclaiming another Yahshua, whom we have not proclaimed, or if you receive another spirit which you have not received, or another good news which you never accepted, you might have listened to him. (2Co 11:3-4)

wiki is about as far from "crazy conspiracy" as one can get. sure they may have errors but they are not known to go outside the mainstream. the info provided can be easily confirmed by many many many other academic sources.
before i understand any teaching i want to compare it with scripture and what Jesus teaches. Jesus said there would be many false teachers, He said we would know them by their fruit. if a teacher has to kill someone to make others believe, thats bad fruit.
compare those teachers with the non trinity teachers of Alexandria and Languedoc they didnt have to kill people to get them to accept their teach8ings.

(Blind post)

Here's a verse and a short passage that both come to mind about different parts of this thread, so just in case they have not been posted yet, here they are :)

Genesis 1
26 God (אֱלֹהִים [ʾelohiym]) said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Acts 13
1 There were at Antioch, in the church that was there, prophets and teachers: Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
2 While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.
3 Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia and from there they sailed to Cyprus.

~Deut

Matthew 28
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name* of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

.
...............*ὄνομα [onoma] - "name" - noun, accusative, singular (the "name" of God is: "the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit").

Don't put words in my mouth. I was simply stating a fact. People love to claim the "meek and lowly" Jesus while neglecting the fact He is also a God of vengeance and wrath.

Just how do you separate the Holy Spirit from our heavenly Father. The Father is the Holy Spirit and so is Jesus the Holy Spirit. You can't separate them.
Even though the Holy Spirit is distinct from the Father and the Son, He is sometimes called *the Spirit of God* and sometimes even *the Spirit of Christ*. That does NOT nullify the fact that one God exists eternally as THREE divine Persons -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is not something men have made up, but is clearly presented in the Bible. It must be accepted by faith, since the human mind cannot comprehend this mystery.

It is more about having a personal relationship with Jesus and knowing who he really is. God in the Old Testament told his people to: "Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings," (Psa 17:8)

The same God (Jesus Immanuel) in the New Testament said: "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!" (Mat 23:37)

When I Googled the subject "Trinity" it said that it was Tertullian who in the third century AD began to advocate that the Holy Spirit is a person.

I don't believe in the Trinity, the concept that there are THREE Persons in the Israelite Godhead.

I only believe that there are TWO Persons in the Israelite Godhead.

There is God the Father of the Old Testament and there is God the Son.

As for God the Father:

Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.

(The above word "LORD" is the word "Yehova" in Hebrew)

And this God Jehova has a Son:

Psalm 2:12
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little.

Galatians 4:4
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman.

But the most important Biblical evidence that there are only TWO Persons in the Israelite Godhead is found in the letters of Paul.

At the beginning of ALL Paul's letters, Paul ONLY BRINGS GREETINGS to the Church from GOD THE FATHER and from the LORD JESUS CHRIST ... and then, Paul... STOPS! Let's look at those verses:

Romans 1:7
To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:3
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:2
Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Galatians 1:3
Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:2
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:2
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:2
To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colosse: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 1:1
Paul and Silvanus and Timotheus, to the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:2
Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 1:2
To Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

2 Timothy 1:2
To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

Titus 1:4
To Titus, my own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Philemon 1:3
Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

NOW, if Paul had considered the Holy Spirit to be a Person, would not Paul also have sent greetings from the Holy Spirit to the Church?

Indeed, the Bible says instead that the Spirit is the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Jesus Christ:

1 Corinthians 3:16
Don't you know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Galatians 4:6
And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

So clearly the Spirit is something that belongs to God the father and that belongs to God the Son.

Again, if anyone in the New Testament would have known whether the Holy Spirit was a person like God the Father and like God the Son ... Paul would have certainly known it and Paul would also have sent greetings from the Holy Spirit and the reason Paul NEVER did is because Paul knew that the Holy Spirit was not a person.

There are only TWO Persons in the Israelite Godhead, God the Father and God the Son Jesus Christ.

It was Tertullian who in the third century AD floated the idea that the Holy Spirit was a person and the modern church has adopted it Hook, Line & Sinker.
If so, then what is the Holy Spirit?
