i feel that i have no one but GOD right now in my life and a new year coming up, so i don't feel too happy to be alone. So I would like to talk to people who actually believe in God.

I understand how you feel.. But having God with us means we are not alone..

If God was my only friend, I would feel fulfilled. I know what you mean though. Man has the instinctive need to belong, and be accepted. I’m a “giver”. It seems like most people in my life are all “takers”. Since that is my situation, loneliness is preferred.

thank you. i dont feel that alone anymore, took me all night but i reconnected with God, im in awe, filled with His love and joy all over again. plus i went to church in the morningWelcome. You will meet nice and friendly people here. Happy New Year
i was born into christian family, was praying before i could even understand. you right on point about instinctive need to belong and be accepted, thats me. I don't like to give or accept, so i don't like to share lol. but i felt alone all my life and its about time to end it. sadness is gone and I don't want it back ever again.

It is not good for man to be alone. The struggle is real! The reality of how you feel is valid but have you ever felt similar in the past?
My experience has been that I usually fight my feelings by numbing or distracting myself until they pass.
My strength is that God has always brought me through whatever life has to offer.
Hope is something that I have intrinsically possessed until just recently. By inability to rely on my own fortitude has been nonexistent so reading the word of God and thanking our father in heaven for opening my eyes each morning has given me something to look forward to.
I have felt alone and stuck in my situation a few times. I am willing to go into details and listen to your personal situation if you would like to disclose or discuss with me further but that option is yours.

God can be in everything. There are so many stories about people getting hope and inspiration online that proves we can use the world wide Web as a tool to connect as a means of human fellowship. There have been a few occasions that I have found companionship online but they were not holy nor christ centered so therefore not eternal life relationships.
Paul wrote that God works all things together for the good of those that love him, and are called according to his good purpose. The more life has to dish me the more I experience the fruit of patience while seeking his perfect timing. Not sure if this helps anyone with anything at all but it's a good reminder to myself that God is great!
