I only wonder if the dog won't get burned by trying to carry the coffes for you both, or else you will have coffee all over your place and a dog having traumatical experience because of the shock of this. 
Dogs are very clever with learning, when it comes about your second option wish. But at the same time, it is best not confusing them too much either. They might end up chasing guests, and being friendly towards door salesmen.
