My Beloved Norway

I am not Norwegian, and I’ve never been in Norway, nor east of Chicago, but I can pretend.

O Norway, how I miss the beautiful, green baseball fields of my youth.

Indeed and the skating prowess as our national team falls again and again to Canada.

And watching the barges moving up and down the your great Mississippi River, from the lookout in my grandmother’s back yard.

You’re right—it’s not the Mississippi. I can’t think of the name of it right now. It’s that big river that goes through Norway.

That is a very beautiful picture. I'd love living next to such one, and then when there is sun go get my poem book, diary or any writing paper writing to a friend or penpal I have... Delicious to be relaxing close to any form of water.
