Marcelo said:All four gospels are for all of us, but Matthew was especially written for the Jews, Mark for the Romans, Luke for the Greeks and John for all the world.

The gospels were written for all the world, but only the Jews were supposed to obey the commandments of Jesus related to the law of Moses. After the death of the Lord on the cross there was a long transition period between the Old and the New Covenant, but eventually all Jews were freed from the Law.
Inward Jew as born again of the incorruptible Spirit of the word of God . Or a outward Jew pertaining to the flesh?
I think Jesus was preaching to all Jews (religious or not). If a non-religious Jew happened to be present at one of Jesus' sermons and got moved by the Holy Spirit to follow the Lord, that would be nice. The recently converted Jew would start attempting to follow the earthly Jesus and then, after the cross, with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, he would actually follow the risen Jesus.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God...

Paul leaves Corinth after almost two years of work (Acts 18:11,18).

Paul shaves his hair off according to the vow of a Nazarite. (Num. 6:13,18,21) But why? Up to this time Paul's desire to participate in the Jewish feasts and vows has seemingly been ignored or been nonexistent. Paul had been in Jerusalem three times before with no mention of anything like this. Paul knew that his was no longer necessary .... but why?

In (Acts 18:19) he entered and taught in the synagogue. He was received well (vs. 20.) He had just spent two years in Corinth where according to the New Testament, the signs were most abundantly used, meaning a large population of unbelieving Jews. Paul must have had an overwhelming desire to reach his people with the message of salvation.

Something has happened to Paul's heart:

Two synagogue rulers were just converted under his ministry (vs. 8,17). This renewed his burden (Rom. 9:13). The shaving of his head is becoming all things to all men. He shaves his head as a testimony to the Jews (1 Cor. 9:20).
Lol
You do everything in your power to make that say what you think.

And you say study.

Galatians 1: 11 Dear brothers and sisters, I want you to understand that the gospel message I preach is not based on mere human reasoning. 12 I received my message from no human source, and no one taught me. Instead, I received it by direct revelation from Jesus Christ.[d]

14 Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless, 15 and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things,in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. (2 Peter 3.14-16).

The ascended Lord Jesus chose Paul as the messenger of the Gospel of Grace and revealed to him stuff that no one else had, stuff that even Peter finds hard to understand. Topics like the rapture, righteousness apart from works, mystery of the Church where Jews and Gentiles are equal, are all examples of such secrets.
Not apart from the illumination of the Holy Spirit.

Way to much emphasis on a man.

Again, you guys actually seek conflict within the bible.

Again,as if a different spirit dictated the non pauline books

Wow ,you have to assume there were no gentiles in earshot.
You would be wrong about that

That's what Paul did to win the his Jewish brethren. The Holy Spirit through Paul did not command the body of Christ to do likewise. Your point is not valid.
Then maybe Peter was just following Paul's example to please the Jews?

Things to keep in mind:

1. God works in covenants with people.
2. Revelation is progressive.

I would add that Scripture is written to three distinct people, the Jew, Gentile, and the Church which is His body. 1 Corinthians 10:32

This is why we are commanded to study and rightly divide Scripture so we can determine proper doctrine.

No conflict between the earthly Jesus and the risen Jesus?

Earthly Jesus: "Obey the scribes and the Pharisees".

Risen Jesus: "You are not under the Law".
Earthly Jesus; He breaks their law.

Another component being left out is that Jesus began his ministry as the God man, anointed by the Holy Spirit and preached born again conversion.

He ministered to,healed, and preached to Gentiles.
He picked and discipled the first christian converts. Betrothed his bride and set Himself at odds with the Jews, was killed by the Jews, did things concerning the devil never before heard of, and operated in signs ,wonders and miracles, commissioned the church, imparted the Holy Spirit to the Church, and fulfilled the ministry of Elijah & Elisha, etc.

And the Pauline doctrine only adherants diminishes the entire deal by labeling it as " only for Jews" and " thats not for us,its just OT"

I Mean, how in the world is that even possible?????

I don't know! Maybe there were a few Gentiles within range, but the earthly Jesus said: 'I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.'

Jesus' initial mission was to racial Israelites and, as far as I know, He made just a few exceptions to this.

You have to state when did that happen:

At the beginning of time?
During the OT?
During Jesus earthly ministry in the 4 Gospels?
At the cross?
At Pentecost?
At Stephen stoning?

Us Gentiles have turned the message of Jesus and His coming unto His own into a circus and a and a farce because the realization that indeed the 4 Gospels were written to the Jews and not Gentiles is not even give a second glance from those that had no idea that this teaching comes from the Bible they supposedly believe in, yet the comments regarding a straight forward question is so out there and in some cases laughable it is hardly given a serious thought. And as appears to be the case as i become familiar with the way this supposedly Christian group operates questions only become a forum for what can only be called free for all where egos can strut their stuff and hijack the discussion for their own agenda and when the occasion arises start a new thread. You can operate the ignore tool which at least means you do not have to read what they have to say, and this might be a blessing.
So that " born again" comment by Jesus is part of the circus?

Is Jesus a clown ,or some other component in the non pauline only circus?

He certainly has no words of relevance huh?

4 gospels, non pauline epistles, revelation, and the entire OT,being irrelevant gives that doctrine a beautiful "out" to omit anything that personally holds you to whatever standards those conflicting writings by the Holy Spirit is conveying.
Oh,wait,Hebrews is in danger also!!!
Oh well, just consider hebrews a wild card.

That is bliss!!!!

No,its a fool's paradise

Oh,I forgot you guys purposefully negate the mispeak of the rest of the bible.

But that,of course,is why you guys don't know anything about Jesus priestly ministry.

Its in Hebrews ( partly)

What a dilemma!

In order to read hebrews it will be near impossible to take it seriously since paul may not have " written" it.

But you guys would just be bogged down by Jesus' priesthood or his born again mispeak,or that mispeak of jn 3;16.

I already marked through the words "whole" and "whosoever" that the Holy Spirit mistakenly inserted in there I penciled in Jew instead. I chuckle at that Jesus and Holy Spirit, who actually thought they came for non Jews.

You gotta remember you guys weren't there to correct him.

Oh,wait that foundation deal.
Did paul invoke it?
If not,you are excused.
I know the rest of the bible is just to Jews and such.

I think the division between the Jew and the gentile has always been a temporal. the kingdom of God is not of this creation . The Holy Spirit of Christ using the flesh of one nation to represent the unseen spiritual seed by which all men are born again from above in all nations . The Jew thinking it had to with their Jewish flesh did not mix faith in what they did hear coming from god. So they refusing to believe prophecy rather did whatsoever their own mouth declared as oral traditions of men.

The term inward Jew is used to represent a born again gentile. The time of reformation has come over two thousand yeas ago.

If any man Jew or Gentile have not the Spirit of Christ then neither do they belong to Christ .Got puts no difference between the two .

Same one lump of clay... same mutual faith of Christ working in the hearts of His new creature the bride of Christ, the church

Acts 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Jesus said his own Hebrew flesh it profits for nothing? The Father was there working in the Son of man to correct Him . Did the father say the flesh of a Hebrew did profit for something?

Non Pauline.. what's that???

No wild cards in the deck of 66. (chapters or called books.)

The whole Bible is the good news (gospel ). Beginning in verse 1 of Genesis ending in Revelation 22 ….revealing to us God thoughts confirming His loving laws that do work in those who believe God.... who is not a man as us has spoken moving men like Paul and Moses to record His thoughts and ways..

The outward Jew whom Christ mocked according to Isaiah 28.It was because they believed not(no faith) in all things written in the law and the fathers (sola scriptura) Because they refused to walk by faith they tried to make Jesus into a circus seal . Show us a miracle as a sign and wonder and then we will believe.

Hearing the word of God prophecy and believing was not a gift to them .They rather did whatsoever their own mouths declared (Jerimiah 44) as having no faith, a froward nation. And by those oral traditions as a law of the fathers it made all things written in the law and the prophets without effect..

John 6:30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

Jesus called them a evil generation not being part of the new generation. the born again generation of Christ.

Luke 11:29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: "they seek a sign"; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
