Consider the following quote (… if it's not too long :D ) :

"The coming of the Comforter is once more announced by Him. He could not come unless the Lord departed. He is to be sent to His own and when He comes He will make a great demonstration to the world. The word “reprove” in John 16:8 is incorrect; the Greek word is difficult to express in its full meaning. Some have translated it by “rebuke,” others use the word “convince” or “convict.” The word “demonstrate” seems to be the nearest to the original. “And when He is come He will bring demonstration to the world of sin, and of righteousness and of judgment.” The presence of the Holy Spirit in believers is the proof to the world that the whole world is guilty of the death of Christ; the whole world is under sin and therefore not on probation but under condemnation. The Holy Spirit is also the demonstration to the world of righteousness. This does not mean that He brings righteousness to the world, or makes the world righteous, as so many erroneously believe. Our Lord adds: “Of righteousness, because I go to my Father and ye see me no more.” The Holy One was rejected by the world, cast out as an unrighteous One. But He, Who owned and satisfied God’s righteousness in dying as the substitute of sinners, is now exalted to the right hand of God; there He is the witness of righteousness. The presence of the Holy Spirit on earth demonstrates this fact. God raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory; the world sees Him no more as a Saviour personally on earth; but will see Him again as Judge, when He comes to judge the world in righteousness. Righteousness is fully displayed in the glory, where He is. The hope of righteousness is to be with Him there. (Galatians 5:5.) The Holy Spirit also brings demonstration to the world of judgment “because the prince of this world is judged.” Sentence of judgment is pronounced against Satan, but not yet executed. He is the god of this age, but he was judged in His Cross. Judgment must come upon the world and its prince. The Holy Spirit now present upon the earth in the believers demonstrates this fact."

Thank you I read it. My apologies, but I never do read, what I would consider long articles

On what do you base this assumption? I am certainly looking forward to the New Heavens, New Earth, New Jerusalem.
That may be what he is referring to, but did not put it as scripturally as you have

No problem. I only posted it there because I believed the entire article addressed the very points being covered (back and forth) in that thread (both threads I posted it in... and what I hoped to discuss later this evening, in relation to specific passages that another poster asked about... similarly to that thread...).

[I did, however, forget to reiterate Heb7:22 in those posts where I had linked the long article :) ]

The bit I did read. I would say, the legally enforcing law with its attached penalty for transgression, law, as we all understand law to mean has been abolished. But what is holy just and good has been transferred to tablets of human hearts. I'm not sure the author made such a distinction. I loved the example of the schoolkids once given an instruction, a very good description of being under law, and what that results in. Sorry I cannot elaborate much further

Can your find anything like 1 Cor 15: 1-5 in the 4 Gospels?
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matt26:28

From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. Matt16:21

Can I find 1Cor. 15:1-5 in the 4 Gospels?
Eureka! It can be harmonized in this way…
Matthew Mark Luke John
Jesus death on the cross 27:50 ; 15:37 ; 23:46; 19:28-30
Jesus burial 27:57-61 ; 15:42-47; 23:50-56; 19:38-42
Jesus resurrection 28:1-10 ; 16:1-11 ; 24:1-12 ; 20:1-18

The 4 Gospels records the account of the life and works of Christ. 1 Corinthians 15: is the basis of the Gospel preaching. The basis is on the works of Christ at the cross which was recorded and harmonizes in the 4 Gospels. Now, ever think that not one of the Gospels present salvation to the Gentiles? If you ever have read even the Lukan gospel then sure you would find Christ that He alone saves!

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
