How would those present know salvation in the soul of another person? By signs? How does the person saved know they are saved? By signs?
Your endeavor to attack me personally is beneath the expected conduct of those who discuss the word of God on this forum. You simply resent it when you are presented with the contradictory nature of your arguments. Either signs are expected and necessary or they are not.

you know, I think you have a point there
if people speak against the Holy Spirit and teach against the gifts of the Holy Spirit, why would God confirm His word is being spoken by signs to these same people?
is this perhaps the church that preaches a dry and dead word that God does not honor?
I would think that salvation is a sign of the Holy Spirit being present nonetheless, but as an act of God's mercy because it is hardly the fault of an unsaved person if they are being lied to be so called pastors and teachers who sound like the know something from scripture but yet their is no empowering of the Holy Spirit
sounds pretty ironic
I do wonder though if this may in fact be the case

point out your errors in scriptures should not be an attack but if you think so then don't ask me any questions. Coming into the house of God should be done with a good amount of reverence. Something most contemporary folks would do well to remember.

to make myself clear here, what I am saying is that I am wondering if those who preach against tongues, against the infilling of the Holy Spirit, do not understand that what they do, is not ever going to be blessed by God
God on the other hand, in His mercy, still saves by His Spirit and what may look like a godly church to those with no spiritual insight, is actually a stronghold of the devil in that they turn their faces against the Spirit of God
I can usually tell when people are speaking in their own flesh because they bore me silly and there is no life to it
just yesterday, I was listening to spirit filled teacher, a woman, and honestly, my spirit was quickened and I felt joy in the Lord and I felt myself in His presence and so grateful to Him for His salvation
what I see in this thread is absolute HATRED by those who are against what is of God and that is very worrisome indeed
you are putting your puny fist in the face of God Almighty while you think you are so smart in your mockery and you think you are getting somewhere
you are travelling in circles and will remain in your little clique
you actually deny the power of God and I am wondering just how saved are the people who do this kind of thing

Thats your problem, you think everyone has ulterior motives, my only motive is to discuss what your saying and why i disagree with you, like quite a few people here are doing, and from what we all can see you do not like their questions either,,

Until it is established biblically that it is what you claim then the discussion will go on without resolution.
I believe in the Holy Spirit filling believers. I just see from scripture that tongues have ended. Without that discernment just about anything passes without examination.

yet the earth is filled with lying spirits who are allowed to proceed because God has sent a strong delusion upon those who say they have the truth but they do not
so God allows them to continue in their self righteousness
however, only the righteousness of God Himself saves
I tell you what there Roger. Reverence is me worshipping God in the privacy of my own home and wondering what I did to enjoy His precious presence as much as sometimes happens...as it did yesterday morning...my heart filled with thankfulness and knowing even that comes from Him

Your on an open forum, you should expect people to question what you say or at the least discuss if they disagree, not only for our sake but-for the sake of others who may see what is being said
If you do not want to answer, don’t, it will be there for people to see and at the least they will wonder why.
But if you think attacking me by name calling will get you anywhere, it wont.
