one of our cats does that to my wife! -- we think he just really likes her shampoo . . ?
if she's wearing an hairband or bandanna or barrette, he'll pull it out with his teeth and spit it on the floor. he apparently doesn't like anything to be in the way of him eating her delicious hair lol

It seems our cat tries to cover up the smell as she doesnt like any smell besides her own lol and when it doesn't work she gets mad and bites. She'll throw herself at my head

I had a tiny toy Yorkie-poo that had hard time with her water bowl. It was stainless steel and had a mirror like finish. She saw the "other" dog in the bowl and got afraid of it. I tried to get some video of her sneaking up to get water looking out for the other. She crawled on her belly up to the dish. I finally had to put a plastic bowl down.

Hey sweet Demi,
animals in general 'hate' chems', and most hair products, they seem to like their owners to smell like a natural animal, imagine that?99% of 'man-made products contain mega poisons, and our animals will react in the only way that they can - I know that I am totally intolerant of carcinogens and have to avoid many things/places/products at this time of my life - I only go to the doc twice a year for insurance purposes, and when I leave, I almost always get very nauseous and sick feeling, due to the spraying for bugs - please look into 'off of the grid' people who have spent many years finding alternatives to the normal poisons sold over the counter and through the pharmikia, you will be amazed what wonderful alternative products that are available out there for us, if we care to investigate them -
just a share, something that I, even at my age, just discovered because of a process that has brought me to this knowledge, I stopped using deodorant many years age, and just went natural, but as of a couple of years ago, hub and I were led into the amazing results of 'pure-natural-essential oils' - among the many benefits that we have discovered and learned from others, I that my self have come to realize and experience the results of, is putting certain essential oils under youarm-pits, and guess what, not only are they beneficial to your glands, but they totally kill any body odor...:):)
never, never, to old to learn something new, Praise God!!!:):)

I have only a toy poodle. One time I let her finish what little was left of my Ben & Jerry's and her head got stuck in the container. Also she's blind now & runs into things, so that's amusing.

Here is a photo of her after I gave her a furcut:

Ok you all shared some amazing amazing stories. I honestly believe animals are God’s gift to us.
Here are 2 stories of my kitty

Once I was looking through some stuff and saw a flying disc so I threw it. But my cat Spot was passing by I thought it would hit her but instead she went full superman and just flew right over it. (She’s a old kitty and not really a jumper.) I will never know how that exactly happened

Another Spot story I remember once when Spot was still a kitten she did something hilarious and me and my mom were laughing but than she thought we were fun of her and than she stood on her hind legs like a bear and walked to us literally standing up for herself. She’s one crazy cat.

We have 2 dogs. One is 4 and one is 7 months (but is as tall as the older dog- he's gonna be a BIG boy!).

When our older dog was around 1 years old, she had this "thing" where she wanted to eat our son's dirty diapers. 🤢 After vomiting up a whole diaper, we got serious and trained her to leave them alone! That was one of the grossest messes I've had to clean up!

One day I was outside and I noticed she had the baby's pacifier in her mouth. I had to chase her around the yard to get it back. I wasn't sure whether to laugh (she looked hilarious with it sticking out of her mouth, like a baby!) or cry (it was our only binkie and she'd ruined it).

By the way, her name is Jezebel because, as my husband said when we talked him into getting a mutt, "You are what you eat!"

I get a pet but I don't want to get an animal with a microchip because of the Bible prophecy and the mark of the beast. I don't feel at peace about it.How would i go about getting a pet without one?

I don’t have cats, but I use to work for an electrical supply company.
They supplied things like TVs, DVD players, VCRs etc (this was some years ago).

We use to have to do lots of repairs due to cats peeing on them and damaging the
circuit boards. You know that new electrical equipment smell, it’s pretty
distinct a combination or plastics and the new copper and boards heating up.

Apparently cats love that smell and it’s very common for them to pee on new
electrical equipment.

Craigslist?
Find a reputable breeder that doesn't chip?
