you experienced it, and say it was nothing? Okay.

What led you to change views?
I read the bible. There's a very big difference between the old covenant and the new covenant. The new covenant applies to the church and the church is the kingdom of god- it comes with NO OBSERVABLE SIGN. The apostles and the 1st century church only laid the foundation of the church and this is when genuine signs and wonders and gifts were done.

As i said,

2 wrongs do not make a right, your a mod, you should know better, what you did is what so many see which do not like christianity, because the people act like they are so much greater than others, and all they do is mock people who disagree with them,

As far as what the other person said, i would not know, i evidently have that person on ignore, if he has been doing the same thing, then he is just as guilty. But again, your a mod, you should hold yourself to a higher standard. And others should hold you as such

What i said is truthful it did not prove you were right, and did nothing to advance your belief. If you think it did, well that just explains alot.
An ugly attempt to put words in my mouth.
My question was very simple, do you believe that God uses some specific men today to resurrect dead bodies physically? and your answer is that doctors have been known to revive dead people. So God's gifts are distributed to the charismatic people plus doctors and their equipment according to you?

Are there men today that lay hands so that dead are physically raised?
God can use a doctor yes but it is God who controls if one comes back not a doctor does shock treatment work every time no. NO one here has said or acted like they are better than anyone else you have a personal issue. As I have said many time yet I cannot remember one time well you would suggest you could be wrong, I have. I have never said you were not saved because you do not speak in tongues nor I even believe that. But you have said they have devils and heal people by the power of the devil etc.. you mock and do your fair share of it too. No I will not hold myself to a standard that will control me from speaking out when I see you and other attacking and lambasting. Your standard is not my standard. I can say that about you are you not an adult? are you not saved as I am. I am willing to move on and have a debate with you or hear you if you were open to hearing others. FYI have you been banned? then Judge me on what I do too ok.

This is an interesting theory. The kingdom allegedly comes with no observable signs, but when Jesus, Paul, Peter and the others preached it, there were observable signs. You claim that "genuine signs and wonders and gifts were done", but since there is no Scripture written after AD 70 to confirm that the Kingdom continued to be preached with no observable signs, what we have is an assertion that rests on nothing.

I have been miraculously healed myself, all praise be to God but nobody laid their filthy hands on me.
Again, the kingdom of God doesn't come with obersvable signs that people will say "there it is or here it comes or those people doing miracles or these that speak meaningless words.."

NO OBSERVABLE SIGN means no single sign, just understanding.
why does one who lays hand have to be filthy ? anger issues

It is not me, i just read here:
Matt 7:
21Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’
23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’

I know for a fact that these people are not Muslims/Satanists/Budhists/ Hindus/ Atheists/ Tribal Jews- these are so called Christians mainly Charismatic who walked all over doing miracles and thought it was from God.

FYI have you been banned?
No. That would be very unfair, getting banned for reading the scriptures.

I don't assume nothing, i know from experience and also reading the scriptures and yes they ceased in the 1st century.
If they did not cease in the first century, when do you think they will cease?

I didn't say there are no miracles today, there's plenty but just as the scripture says:

2 Thess 2:9The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and FALSE wonder, 10and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them.

Are there miracles today? yes, plenty. Is it God doing His work? No, it is satan doing his work to deceive the lost.

The kingdom of God doesn't come with observable signs.
this is why it is important to know what God does in the word of god and then look at what has been done to see if it is of God, but measuring it in light of Gods word.

from the word of God we know God can do and has done from what Satan has done and can do.

God : saves, heals delivers, provides
Satan: kills, steals, and destroys and is a liar

So satan does not heal. That is not the nature of him. God heals so when healing happens we give GOD the glory, not a man or the devil as some like to do.

Jesus preached "the kingdom of God is at hand.."

Paul preached:

Heb 10: 25Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching. .....
35So do not throw away your confidence; it holds a great reward. 36You need to persevere, so that after you have done God’s will, you will receive what He has promised. 37For, in just a little while, He who is coming will come and will not delay.

I believe that day came and the one who was to come came during their time. There's spinning this to mean 21st century and counting.

Rom 13:11And do this, understanding the occasion. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

The day drawing near can not even mean 2nd century, thinking otherwise is calling Paul a liar. He wrote to men and gave them hope. There was never at any given point this men read the letters and said to themselves "'mmh this must be for the 21st century people", it was for them, the day approached and the one who was to come came.

that is for you to self examine as I do to see if we are in the faith. I will leave it to God to know who those are that are saying Lord Lord, and get as close to Jesus so it is not me HE says that too. those who are driving out demons and performing many miracles could that be they think they are the one doing it for self-glory? Why do all miracles fit that one context?
If you explain to me those who walk all over doing miracles instead blanketly assuming all are like that you may find I agree with you.

But to hate them is wrong to call them filthy and of the devil is not right.
I have prayed for people and God has healed them God has. I have seen miracles, and yes I have seen error, ignorance, and immaturity with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. yes, it upsets me more than you know. But not more than a pastor abusing his office or any other. foolishness. I combat it all the time.

Is these still the word of God?

Psalms 116:
15Precious in the sight of the LORD
is the death of His saints.

Isa 57:
1The righteous perish,
and no one takes it to heart;
devout men are swept away,
with none considering
that the righteous are guided
from the presence of evil.
2Those who walk uprightly enter into peace;
they find rest, lying down in death.

Can satan do anything that God has not allowed? haven't you heard that satan is the rod of God's anger

satan will not do anything that God does not allow him to in context the nature of Satan i.e. steal kill and destroy you. You will never be able to show me that Satan would heal me. satan does not want to heal me, he wants to kill me. You are allegorizing scripture. also, the context of Satan aka Lucifer has changed after he was kicked out of heaven. Satan is limited and god can use satan to do what he wants yes, but Nowhere in the word of God does satan heal or save.

The problem is, you don't understand. It is ALL (ALL) who claim to do what they do by the power of God. That verse is talking about many and many means many. It is not a matter of self examination, it is a matter of understanding times. In the new covenant, everyone is a priest, means that we are directly dealing with God and no one is appointed over another.

well I understand full well, sadly you have hate. maybe it was someone who hurt you that was a charismatic or Pentecostal. You blanketly toe tag all with that, which is wrong and now it is your personal issue. Self-examination is much needed. clearly, those who thought they were right with God were not. The sad thing is you only see it as those who speak in tongues or cast out devils. You need to read more.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Then your belief is wrong because the following words were spoken in the 1st century:

Mark 1:14After the arrest of John, Jesus went into Galilee and proclaimed the gospel of God. 15“The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near.Repent and believe in the gospel!”

Matthew 3:2
and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

Matthew 4:17
From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

Non of these implies some indefinite time in the future but 1st century.

Chapter and verse?, please?
Isa 10:
5Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger;
the staff in their hands is My wrath.
6I will send him against a godless nation;
I will dispatch him against a people destined for My rage,.....
12So when the Lord has completed all His work against Mount Zion and Jerusalem, He will say, “I will punish the king of Assyria for the fruit of his arrogant heart and the proud look in his eyes.” 13For he says:

“By the strength of my hand I have done this,

and by my wisdom, for I am clever.
