Don’t use a really thick layer. Just put on frequent thin layers. That way air can get to your hands, which is important, I think.

K, thanks!!! They're reddish and caked a bit.. I've been using lotion for quite a while. Guess that's what happens when you work at a nursing home and go through TONS of hand sanitizer every day.. :eek::D

I used a lotion that has coconut butter in it last night..it worked like a charm. My hands are no longer caked, or painful, although they're still pretty dry. :)

It's 12:09 pm and I'm eating lunch.
