[/COLOR][/I]One thing you can always rely on, on the internet, is people will always find a way to overturn the plain words of the[/B] bible. Yep, head knowledge will save no one. Constant internet debaters beware!!!

And it is THE TRUTH OF SCRIPTURE.

Here is the support that Head Knowledge alone will NOT SAVE:

WHAT KIND OF KNOWLEDGE DID THESE HAVE ? ? ?

Matthew 7:21-23 (HCSB)
21Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but ⌊only⌋ the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 On that day
many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord [🖚 Head Knowledge], didn’t we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?’
23 Then I will announce to them, ‘I never knew you!
[🖚 Heart Knowledge] Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!’

Romans 10:9 (NASB)
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

Acts 8:37 (NASB)
37 [And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."]

I find it AMAZING that some here who preach a losable salvation dont care about people enough to answer questions relating to maintaining salvation.

If salvation can be lost you should be extremely worried about me and tell me WHAT im misunderstanding when I ask you in a friendly manner!

I dont see Peter or Paul turning down someone asking them a question.

You talk about "these OSAS guys they just love to sin and people believe in it so they can sin", watch me FLIP that back on you:
"These 'IKEA Doityourself salvation' preachers just love to act superior to everyone else, look down their nose at people and tell them they are a lost cause and wont understand my next level theology, those simpletons"

HAAHHAHAHA IKEA.....that is hilarious.....1st time I was in one was in Marsdan Park AU....

Are you teaching people that once they are saved by the Grace of God, through the faith in Jesus Christ, that they do not have to do any works, not even feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit those in prison or the widows, etc? Because they could boast about those too?

So you do no works of Christ or for Christ? What do you do as a person living for Christ then? It seems you are saying that we are not obligated to help the poor, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the widows, fatherless and those in prison, welcome the stranger, give drink to those thirsty, etc, because we could boast about it.

Eph 2:10 says we were "created in Christ for good works".

Did you know that Jesus only chooses those who do good works? and those that didn't go to eternal punishment? Mat 25:32
False.....Jesus only chooses those who have believed in him.......saved FOR not BY and all who have believed have ALREADY done the work of the Heavenly Father......!!

You don't know me. You don't know my past, or my testimony and how I arrived, after immense struggle, with the revelation of the surety that I am His forever upon being born again HIS.

I'm not going to recount all of that now. Very excited to leave now for our Wednesday night Bible study on Romans 12.

But I'll just say this. I WAS at the place you are at now. Yes. I definitely believed I could do something to lose the Salvation the Lord has given me. It took more than a decade of wandering in a Spiritual desert before THE LORD drew me back home. Incredibly painful time. But INCREDIBLE to see Romans 8:28 in full action looking back now.

Please do yourself a favor. Go back. Read the passages I posted. Have an open mid about it, and ask the Lord about them. Have a blessed night.
I used to be once where you are now, I only had half a bible then too

Only you are the one who refuses to believe, that GOD SAID NONE OF THEM WERE OF US.
After your previous attempt to overturn the plain words of the bible I am not inspired to reply to what you wrote

Why would you think you have to get every possible doctrine correct?

1 Timothy 4:1-2 (NKJV)
1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (HCSB)
3 For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear something new.
4 They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths.

1 Timothy 1:3-4 (NIV)
3 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer
4 nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. These promote controversies rather than God's work--which is by faith.

Titus 3:10-11 (GW)
10 Have nothing to do with people who continue to teach false doctrine after you have warned them once or twice.
11 You know that people like this are corrupt. They are sinners condemned by their own actions.

Titus 1:8-9 (ASV)
8 but given to hospitality, as lover of good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled;
9 holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict the gainsayers.

I know persons that have never read the bible and are more humble and in keeping with the Sermon on the Mount than some on these sites.

I came here for fellowship because of where I live...
This is what I find...very sad indeed.
Jesus didn't have to preach for over 3 years.
All those letters didn't have to be written...
All the Apostles and those that came after them had to do was to say
Believe in Jesus with your knowledge (mind) and then you'll be saved and that's all you have to do.

Simple.
There must be a REASON why the gate is narrow and why not many find it.
It really is true, the average pew sitter, who has read nowhere near as much of the bible as the average internet debater, nor read the greek, nor searched through concordances such as strongs understands more of what is most important in the faith than those who spend huge amounts of time debating the bible on the internet.
People come who have read the letter of the bible inside out and believe they are gifted teachers of the word, but it is not enough to know the letter, if it was the Pharisees of Jesus day would have welcomed Christ, not rejected him. I am sorry for the poblems you have had here. There are other sites you may be happier with

Truth of scripture??? You spend much time seeking to overturn the plain words of scripture that do not fit into your particular theology

I should have known

Magnetta says the HS works within unsaved people, which is true, (he hs convicts the world of sin righteousness and judgment)

And this dude attacks her by saying she said the HS indwells unsaved people.

Some people are so out to defend their own belief, they can not see what others say,

Working in a person and indwelling them are two different things,
So far he has proven that he either cannot read, has no comprehension of what is written or or just flat lies or embellishes what we do say.....

God is our judge. If God determines someone dies a heretic, do they forfeit heaven?

1 Timothy 1:18-20 (HCSB)
18 Timothy, my son, I am giving you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies previously made about you, so that by them you may strongly engage in battle,
19 having faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and have suffered the shipwreck of their faith.
20 Hymenaeus and Alexander are among them, and I have delivered them to Satan, so that they may be taught not to blaspheme.

There is how Paul dealt with heretics, HE WARNED US NOT TO LISTEN TO THEM {NAMED NAMES}; and turned them over to Satan.
Final Judgement is up to GOD.

Do you really believe God would let someone into heaven who chooses to be an unbelieving heretic?
Don't underestimate some on the internet, they will reason anything anyway they want to, or need to
Do you really believe God would let someone into heaven who chooses to be an unbelieving heretic?
Apparantly it is a possibility-for some, therefore you do not need a righteousness of faith in Christ to enter heaven do you if an unbelieving heretic can get there

In all fairness the word heretic comes from 2 Greek words and means opinionated one or schismatic....who does not have opinions and Paul identified the Corinthian assembly as a church filled with brothers and sisters even though they had some 15 errors.....

That is very scary for these heretics if you believe they go to hell.
