So God gives and takes away His righteousness, now I wonder how many times we can repent (have a change of mind) and come back.

Here is me looking in my bible to see where God maps this out for us???

eternal everlasting, irrevocable, incorruptible never leave, never forsake, save to the uttermost, kept by the power of God.......<--these speak volumes and must FLAT be denied, ignored or swept under the table to teach a false losable salvation that must be maintained by man.....

Yes and yes I find that Truth (as opposed to concept, you know the one men make up) over and over in my Bible.:):)

I simply harmonize scripture with scripture in order to reach the proper conclusion on doctrine. I'm yet to find a verse in the Bible that unequivocally says a really "saved" person really "lost their salvation." But once again, you are free to believe whatever you want to believe.

Prior to my conversion several years ago, while still attending the Roman Catholic church, I noticed that they strongly opposed OSAS or "preservation of the saints," as do many other other cults and false religions as well who teach works salvation, which has always been a red flag for me.
Nothing but a form of religious slavery at the end of the day.............Jesus set us free from that crap.........BELIEVE = ETERNALLY SAVED, JUSTIFIED and SANCTIFIED positionally in CHRIST........

Well if you want to argue the fact a believer loses their righteousness in God's sight if they lose their belief, I would be staggered that you, who go to church and spend much time on this website do not understand the most basic of facts of the new covenant you are under

Good thing I know better.

Took my quote out of context, like deceivers do. My quote was made in the CONTEXT of fruit bearing.

A text taken out of context is a pretext.

You said it takes years for a believer to bear fruit. Not might take years, but does

Eg contradicted you by saying a new believer can bear fruit, ie God can use that person's changed life to draw someone to him

That is an example of bearing fruit

You guys are so confused you contradict each other and don't know it. Because your doctrine is built on sand
You have proven your dishonesty....I could care less what you say and or believe.......the bible is clear.........!!

Oh man what is so wrong with some people on this website.
You forfeit your righteousness by only believing for a while, don't blame God for it

Okay ....well I was going to go onto something else but one last time my friend.....where does God tell us how many times we can forfeit righteousness and how many sins for how long does it take for that to happen.

When you can give me an exact number then I might believe you, because in the true Biblical world Jesus paid 100% for all my sins,

So what happens if you lose your belief/your righteousness and die before you start believing again?
Jesus died for all your sins as long as you have faith in him, for then he is your righteousness

Thanks! You are the first person with the honesty to answer my question. Thank you very much.
I answered honestly and gave you the definition of where the word came from and a very pointed truth that even saved people based upon other erroneous beliefs can be considered OPINIONATED ONES or SCHISMATIC...

Now that makes you the dishonest one.......congratulations....

My question is about a heretic according to God.

This is just my opinion; I do not believe God will allow a heretic into heaven.
By your above post and stating OPINION you stated that GOD will not let you into heaven......is this what you believe? Or do you think tht MAYBE you have went to seed on a word and a stance that might be a little skewed....or misunderstood??

King James Bible
A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

hairetikós (an adjective, derived from 138 /hairéomai, "to choose, have a distinctive opinion") – a factious person, specializing in half-truths and misimpressions "to win others over" to their personal opinion

Start WALKING ...Stop TALKING.

...Some of you have become ARROGANT, as if I were not coming to you. But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have. FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT A MATTER OF TALK but of power. 1 Corinthians 4:18-20

Well that is rather sad for those to whom God decides not to give this faith,

however God does not want anyone to perish so I guess he gives faith to everyone?
Why is it sad? They receive justice.
If God does not want anyone to perish then there is the solution to any disagreement concerning salvation.
Everyone will be saved because God wants it...that is unless God's desire is dependent on human will?
If that's the case does anyone have a new God I can worship and feel secure in his total control

At least Rosemaryx understands the question I asked. I am grateful at least one person in this thread was confident enough in their beliefs to answer my question.
Amen, a non believer (a heretic by defenition) will not go to heaven

A believer who choses to believe the wrong view of end times prophesy (also by definition a heretic) will still go to heaven

So context MUST be considered before answering the question.
Exactly............people that ask open ended questions incessantly have a motive....and or seeks to try and catch people in some sort of idiotic trap.....

And you still don't get it do you. Its not a matter of how many sins you commit its the fact you stop believing.
let me say it once more. Stop believing and you have no saviour from sin, you lose your righteousness/justification in God's sight. For you only have one righteousness/justification in God's sight: Faith in Christ. Its written all over the new testement. I see dcontroversial gave your post a thumbs up, that shows he is as lost as you are in understanding the most basic fact in the Christian faith
