Book chapter and verse.....emphasis upon the word ALL of his disciples thought this....
The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Acts 1:1‭-‬7 KJV

Amen, because he was not looking for that.

He was good, no one knew judas was evil, when jesus said one of them would betray, they did Not look at judas.. Jesus even had to them them he was a thief.

He was what we would call a con man.
I agree...Even the Disciples did not know Judas was the betrayer because he deceived them so well , but not Jesus , for Jesus knows ALL mans hearts...xox...

But that's just the point. He HAD the power, just like the guys that said they performed a bunch of stuff in His Name yet JESUS NEVER KNEW THEM.

Scripture says Satan entered Judas way AFTER being sent out to cast out demons. It shows you how powerful the Name of Jesus is that even unbelievers sometimes can evoke it with success.
What part did you miss of Matthew 10 that says Jesus gave them the power cast out devils and heal the sick

This other crowd is totally different they stand and ask did we not cast out Ect.... If he had given them the power as he did Judas he would not be able to then say I never knew you

Holy spirit was not given to all people in the ot, it was not proof, or guarantee of salvation. He was given to certain people. For certain purposes. you should know that..
Amen! There is a difference between the Holy Spirit’s role in the Old and New Testament in regards to being given to people. The New Testament teaches the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit in believers (2 Corinthians 1:22; 5:5; Ephesians 4:30). When we place our faith in Jesus Christ for salvation/believe the gospel, the Holy Spirit comes to indwell us. This indwelling is permanent and is the "guarantee of our inheritance" (Ephesians 1:13-14). Praise God! :)

In contrast to this permanent sealing of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament, the indwelling in the Old Testament was selective and temporary. The Spirit "came upon" such Old Testament people as Joshua (Numbers 27:18), David (1 Samuel 16:12-13) and even Saul (1 Samuel 10:10). In the book of Judges, we see the Spirit "coming upon" various judges whom God raised up to deliver Israel from their oppressors. So, while in the New Testament the Holy Spirit only indwells believers and that indwelling is permanent, in the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit had come upon certain individuals for a specific task and once the task was completed, the Holy Spirit departed from that person.

some of the people in these things become so deceived they actually believe they have super powers

chris lasala is a good example of this sort.... he will surely point to his works as well

Yeah i hear that alot

Only one issue

If he gives me eternal life the moment i believe

If he says the moment i believe i will never hunger or thirst, i will never die, i have eternal life

If he says at the moment i believe i will be raised (not might)

Then your theory falls flat. Because i can not havr those things in my possession the moment i believe if they can be lost

Fact is, you call god a liar, saying those things are not true

He never said might in any od those things.

Nice try, but nope.
AMEN......the word IRREVOCABLE as applied to the gifts and calling of GOD..........SALVATION is a GIFT............it cannot be any clearer than that............

How hard is this to understand. Jesus gave Judas the power of God cast out devil's

Read Matthew 10 verse 1 Jesus gave it to him

Of course Satan has power but Judas did not receive his power from Satan the Bible plainly says Jesus gave it to him

Please read it and show me if I'm wrong

You have made a valid point about the devil In fact, out of all of God's creation, the devil is the leading expert on the scripture and will wrest and twist it to suit his evil intentions. The power and authority that Satan has was given to him by God but one day will be rescinded when God's will and desire is accomplished as stated in scripture.

More proof for eternal security:

John 6:37-40
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of hall that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.

I highlighted the yellow which proves that everyone that the Father has given to the Son WILL come (not maybe come, not free will, not walk away from it) and Jesus will NEVER cast them out (not maybe casts them out later).

I highlighted the blue which proves that those who have come to the Son, believed on him, will be raised up at the last day, and have eternal life. (Not maybe have eternal life)

Now I will tackle the conditional security argument that this leads to lawlessness and disobedience and just absolute wickedness:

2 Cor 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

True Christians will never live as they please, because they are a NEW creation in Christ!

Calling Judas a son of perdition, doomed to destruction, a non-beiever, and unclean, speaks volumes for those with ears to hear.

Yet not all of them ranwhen they realised it was not to be, only one did, because he never believed
SERIOUSLY..... You didn't learn this Sunday School?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me? I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled. And they all forsook him, and fled.
Mark 14:48‭-‬50 KJV

But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
Matthew 26:56 KJV
