If you read the next few verses it doesn't actually sound like 'precept upon precept, line upon line' is a desirable thing...

Isaiah 28:11-13
For with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people.
To whom He said, This [is] the rest [wherewith] ye may cause the weary to rest; and this [is] the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and] there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
And, this is the reason why. Just another verse or 2 further.
Isaiah 28
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

hey i know a song that sings this verse

Isn't it wonderful to hear scripture set to music?

and yes, the rest of the chapter doesn't sound good for those to whom the word of the Lord is line upon line, does it?

What am i missing? :unsure:

...and then you set the pipe down once you realized the lighter no longer had any fluid left in it?
I am here today to tell you about a great miracle god has given unto me. I am a living witness the spirit of the lord has appeared to me and I stood in his presence and I saw many things that only the prophets themselves have witnessed.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

Joh 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
Joh 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
Joh 20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
Joh 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

jJoh 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Are you sure the Spirit of the Lord appeared unto you, and you stood in His presence, for wouldn't that violate the faith you are supposed to have to please God by believing in a God, and kingdom, you cannot see.

And the disciples, and Paul did not need faith for they were witnesses to the event, with Jesus appearing to Paul, and that way they would know for a fact, and could boldly preach the truth without wavering, and Paul to the Gentiles.

But we need faith.

Joh 1:18 "No man hath seen God at any time";

the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

1Ti 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1Ti 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto;

"whom no man hath seen, nor can see":

to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,

"seen of angels",

preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

No man has seen Jesus according to Him being God.

And don't you know that the Spirit is invisble to both people, and angels, and we will never see God but only a visible manifestation of Him.

So how did the Spirit of the Lord appear unto you, and you seen Him, unless you have Spirit time goggles, like the military has night time goggles.

You have some explaining to do mister.
and as I stood in the church I saw the heavens open up and the church of god descended upon me and I beheld a great stain glass window and his spirits came down and laid hands on the people.

Self proclaimed prophets or those peddling what you peddle in your OP usually end up taking the exit off of I-44 into that sleepy little back water town called Banneville.....

Tjere was one such as yourself that ended up saying that Jesus would reference him by his CC NAME in judgment of us all.....

Not good man

God would be extremely disappointed in someone whom He personally chose to represent Him, and then that person ends up disrespecting Him, by using the spelling to signify Him that's the same as every mythical (g)od :(

I'm not convinced.

Next time you reply, jump on 1 foot and spin while blowing smoke up my lesser behalf :)

Acts 2
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Trying to put that which you spoke Michaelnick, in a proper context. Realizing what an "experience" it must have been for ya.
Don't know if yer a believer in Christ or not. Nor, how long you have been?
I tend to think you have not been a believer very long. So, it would surely seem like a miracle, (which? In fact it truly is). But, that which you have described thus far seems more like something you saw! Which would put this more in the vision "category", if you will. And not attempting to negate such a wonderful and miraculous "experience" you underwent.

Seeings how your new in here. As has been posted previously. You aren't the first one "bursting through the door", so to speak, espousing "previously unseen/unheard" of events, not specifically found within the "bindings of Scripture", that by precepts of man, have hardened hearts, and stiffened necks.
Not to worry, however. It isn't you specifically! It's the mere volume of "one hit wonders", or "drive by's", that causes people, especially one's that have been around awhile, that "monikers" have come to be used in "these types" of "door busters." ;)

As for the "meaning" of that which you have posted thus far from your "vision?" I can tell you "precisely" that which you have seen.
You "witnessed" the beginning of the "electing", if you will, of the 144,000!
Which doesn't necessarily mean you, nor I, for that matter, are of these 144,000!
So, come back, and say some more of what you bore witness to! That ain't sayin', I'll be able to say that which you have seen. Doesn't mean I won't be able to either! :)

In the meantime? It's back to "regularly scheduled programming!"
IOW? :p

I believe that that can happen. I have seen the aura of angels myself. The auras filled up the room i was sleeping in. The second time and last time, i saw the aura, it seemed that that angel was arguing and being resisted by a demon.
