Simon55,

So, is there no scripture reference to your question:

In which verse does God threaten to smear poop in the faces of priests and snatch their roots off the face of the eartn?😀
When you ask a question make sure the answer can be found in the Bible. Thanks! :)

KnowMe, since no one else listed the actual names I will give you the points for knowing where to find the answer. Good Job! Your turn to ask the next question. Make it challenging please. I love it when I learn something new.

Bye the way... The next time you read Rev 5 and see that the 24 crowned elders sing the song, "you have redeemed US by your blood from every tribe tongue, people, nation and has made us kings and priests, could be a symbolic representation of all glorified saints and not 24 special people. Maybe they are shown as 24 elders to suggest that we are going to rule and reign with him as Kings and Priests". That these 24 priest elders in 1 Chron 24 7-18 is what is supposed to be represented there in Rev 5. Not the actual named men but the idea of the government of the priesthood. This is not a private interpretation. I read about it first in the writings of Joseph A Seiss, in his verse by verse commentary on Revelation.
Ok you want a challenge, here you go,
Mark 14
51One young man who had been following Jesus was wearing a linen cloth around his body. They caught hold of him, 52but he pulled free of the linen cloth and ran away naked.

who was the young man in mark 14, and you can’t use Mark as an answer.

here’s the clues.

John 19
27Then He said to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” So from that hour, this disciple took her into his home.

John 20
6Simon Peter arrived just after him. He entered the tomb and saw the linen cloths lying there. 7The face cloth that had been around Jesus’ head was rolled up, lying separate from the linen cloths. 8Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in. And he saw and believed. 9For they still did not understand from the Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.

Not sure of the answer to your question but, this is interesting what happens to Jezebel............

2 Kings 9:36-37 King James Version (KJV)
36 Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:
37 And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.
You left out the good part....the bible is so violent lol Capture+_2019-03-08-15-16-34.png

Name 3 of the 6 things I am thinking of ( and there is probably more )
Christ says he will give to those who overcome.
Well, now how do I know what "you're thinking of" ? lol! :giggle:

I can give you 3 things Christ says He will give to those who overcome (from the letters to the churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3):

1 - Get to eat of the tree of life in the midst of the paradise of God

Revelation 2:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

2 - Get to eat of the hidden manna.....

3 - Gets a white stone with a new name written.....

Revelation 2:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

There are a lot more........these are just 3. :)(y)

I thought there was more verse to that in another book maybe that tells when it actually did happen?

And so then what Is Christ saying in Rev.....when he says he gave her time to repent does he mean the same Jezebel or is he speaking figuratively ?

Malachi 2:3
Simon55, you did it again......asked a question that does not have a scripture answer.

I think it was Peter.......but, can it be proven with scripture?

Where is the seat of Satan?
Has an answer!
So, is it the City of Pergamos?

Revelation 2:12-14 King James Version (KJV)
12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

It wasn’t Peter, I am thinking of a person mentioned in the NT, rather it’s proven it would probably be more faith.

Ok.....so....by the verse you included it says the apostles didn't understand their scripture......
So......what implication or message does that send to us that our understanding must exceed theirs ?

IMO Jesus used other examples to convey a understanding of something else at times.

so in John 19 what could be the reason why Jesus said here’s your mother to the disciple who took Mary into his home? what was he conveying.

in John 20 what could be the reason why the cloth linen was mentioned as lying in the tomb, what could possibly be the purpose of such knowledge to know, why Jesus left the garments to convey what? was he trying to tell someone something?

According to scripture, what is the reason why Jesus said the widow's mite was more than all the others monetary offerings?
