I was trying to post a thread celebrating Alice Cooper's Christian trilogy of albums ("The Last Temptation of Alice Cooper," "Brutal Planet," and "Dragontown"), but it seems to have disappeared.

Is it because I included a video I had posted on Facebook of Alice performing a Christian song to open the concert I saw of his last October? Is that some kind of copyright infringement to post videos that have previously been posted to Facebook or something?

I recorded the video myself, so I should own the rights to it--can anyone explain the policy or why my thread might have disappeared?

In the meantime, I guess we can discuss the Christian music of Alice Cooper without videos.

Here are the lyrics to one of my favorites...

NOTHING'S FREE

You, me, understand
Shake my hand
Last chance, little man
Ain't it grand
It's a bargain, it's a steal
30 pieces of silver
And a deal's a deal
Sign upon the dotted line
I'll be yours and you'll be mine
Nothing's free
Eventually
Nothing's free

From the rules and laws of morality
Free to take your fill
Free from your own free will
Nothing's free

My boy, it's getting late
I'll raise the stakes
So close
Control your fate, why hesitate
Seal the deal, close the sale
Take my hammer, drive the nail
Sign upon the bloody line
A drop of yours, a drop of mine
Nothing's free
Eternally
Nothing's free

From your conscience or
Free from the consequence
Free to sin and death
Free till your final breath
Nothing's free
Free from the claws and flaws of your family
Free from obedient life
You cut like a double-edged knife
Nothing's free, nothing's free
Oh, you'll pay me

Free to ignore the bore of authority
Free to spit in the face
Be the winningest rat in the race
till Judgement Day
Then nothing's free

Bow to me if you want to be free
Free from life, come and die with me
And when we're dead it's for eternity

Come on little one and dance in the fire
The heat's getting close
and the flame's getting higher
When the music's over there's a hush in the choir
Nothing's free

When the trumpets sound
and his light is all around
And the saints all raise from their graves
in the ground
We'll be going way downtown
WAY downtown...

It looks like my other thread is back now; could a moderator maybe merge these two threads into one?

If it's possible, that would be great. As amazing as it is, there's no need to have two threads devoted to Alice Cooper's Christian music.

Yeah, I like his secular music too, but being a Christian forum, I thought we might discuss his Christian music here.

ABBA -- Does Your Mother Know?

Either English isn't your first language, or reading comprehension isn't among your strongest skills.

What does ABBA have to do with Alice Cooper?

Pure Satanic evil. Evidently the redoubtable Alister Begg is acquainted with Cooper....incredibly. Cooper may have spoken at his church in fact. I truly hope he is saved but I have my doubts....

Only God knows who is REALLY saved. All we have to go on are people's testimonies of their own relationships with God, but it doesn't really matter if we believe them or not.

All I know is that this is one of the best rebukes of the devil I have ever heard (I think I have it set to start at the right time; go to 3:08 if not):

I tell you right now I don't want your reptile embrace...
I don't wanna follow you down to your place...
I don't wanna be a child of disgrace...
Oooooohhhhhhhhhhhh....

You can take your whiskey-soaked, foamin'-at-the-mouth, toilet-talkin', pea-soup-spewin', sweatin'-blood demon breath outta my face!!!

I find this infinitely more appealing....

Here's another good one...

What about dark
What about light
What about wrong
What about right
What about death
What about sin
What about the web you're trying to spin
What about truth
What about life
What about glory
What about Christ
What about peace
What about love
What about faith in God above
What about war
What about hell
What if I stumble
What if I fell
What about blood
What about greed
And all these things you're offering me
Yeah, what about me
Little me
You lose
I win
You couldn't suck me in
It's over
You have no power
You're lost
And I'm found
And I'm heaven bound
Go back
Where you belong
To where you fell
Go to hell

Not even close

The Bible does not endorse rebuking the devil.

” 7Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.…

Um, rebuking the devil is one way of resisting him. Even Jesus rebuked the devil ("And Jesus rebuked the devil;" Matthew 17:18 (KJV)).
You are not Jesus.
