Jesus offered himself as a sacrifice to God, for God's acceptance, for the sins of the people that God gave him. God accepted his offer, and was pleased. Jesus paid the price in full for the sins of those he died for and none of the sins will keep them out of heaven. Jesus's offering was not to man for man's acceptance, but for God's acceptance. All of those that he died for will be in heaven at the last day.

Is it a work of man to believe on Jesus, or is it a work of God? 1 Cor 2:14 says that the natural man, void of being born of the Spirit, cannot discern or believe in spiritual things. Those who see and believe have hearts to believe and eyes to see spiritual things because they are already born of the Spirit. Being born of the Spirit is a work of God, not of man. John 6:29, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. We both should listen to Jesus.

Do you mind to expound on your statement? I am missing your point.
You said that before a person will believe In a spiritual GOD they must first be reborn.
I believe that everyone knows that there Is a GOD,everywhere we look at creation we see a divine hand at work so then there Is no excuse for not believing In GOD.
But how would we get reborn

I say they should repent and believe

Romans 10:6-9
King James Version

6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down [from above]:)

7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Roger. Electricity APPEARS to be available to everyone. But...

The electricity is LIMITED to the people who apply and pay their bills on time.

I have no confusion on the Atonement or who it applies to. That is why I have no problems saying it is limited to Believers.

You limit it to believers as well you are just afraid to state it in simple terms. Everyone so far has limited the Atonement to Believers but for some reason they don't understand, just like you, that they are doing it.

Its ok. Its just like when legalists say that the Law won't give you salvation but you still have to follow it. They are stuck in some sort of weird circular reasoning that only makes sense to themselves. So they can resist saying certain terms but then state the exact same thing in different ways thinking and hoping that it somehow makes a difference or that people won't point out the obvious mistakes they make.
That is sound reasoning Grandpa.

Salvation is "a deliverance". We are delivered by God from many things as we live our lives here on earth. We can be delivered by confessing and believing ( works of man) as we live this side of heaven. Being delivered eternally is not by the works of man.

The apostles were instructed to go and preach to the lost SHEEP (God's born again children) of the house of Israel (Jacob) so that they might be delivered from their lack of knowledge, and stop going about to establish their own righteousness and submit to the righteousness of Christ. There is a salvation (deliverance) this side of heaven.

The children of God have no righteousness by their nature, only the imputed righteousness of Christ, after they have been born again.
