That "born again thing, what is this???
If you have not been born again then you are still outside of God's saving grace.

As Jesus talked with Nicodemus, He said, “‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’ ‘How can a man be born when he is old?’ Nicodemus asked. ‘Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, “You must be born again”’” (John 3:3-7).

One is "born again" when one accepts the free gift of salvation from Jesus knowing that we can never be good enough to satisfy God's justice, you accept, believe in, trust in the work of Christ Jesus, death and resurrection, that He died for you personally and paid that debt of sin on your behalf.

How does that come to be? Ephesians 2:8-9 states, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." When one is saved, he/she has been born again, spiritually renewed, and is now a child of God by right of new birth.

Trusting in Jesus Christ, the One who paid the penalty of sin when He died on the cross, is the means to be "born again." "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has gone, the new has come!"
(2 Corinthians 5:17).

Will you trust Him for eternal life today?

No "born again" is trusting in Jesus for salvation, it is a personal movement of faith in Jesus through your personal prayer to HIM where you are persuaded that He died for you and you cannot earn salvation by your good works.

We all sin, God requires perfection Jesus paid the debt of our sin. Accept His free gift of salvation, the debt has been paid on your behalf, but you need to make it personal between you and Him.

You don't get to decide, from a moral basis, what is and is not an allowable talking point. I'm not in the habit of letting people think they can control the conversation by telling me what I can and cannot talk about. You avoid the moral component like The Plague because you are forced to do so. You are a self-confessed Christian defending a political party that has a platform based on unrestricted elective abortion. Therefore, you support abortion. That is an obvious fact that you continually refuse to deal with. If you didn't support abortion, you wouldn't vote for candidates that do, or go around telling everyone how great the DNC is.
Oh, I thought you were going to say how great abortion is. because that was what you were saying the Dems were about right?

What idiosyncrasies (spell check is your friend) would those be? I'm stating what I've been stating for decades and it has nothing to do with Trump. You can't be an actual Christian actively serving God and vote for people who support amoral positions. That's a Biblical fact and it has nothing to do with Trump. You can't defend your course of action without trying to make it someone else's problem, engaging in ad hominems and saying "that isn't my responsibility." It most certainly is. I've asked you repeatedly to give me scriptural support for your rational and I've yet to see it.
I don't know why responses are'nt getting to you. Anyhow my responsibility is to people like my 75 yr old widowed neighbor who's husband was a police officer that has to work for a catering company to pay her bills !!! This upsets me deeply... This is my mission in life. Not to protect billionaires because you think they deserve this... Quote me one thing in the bible that Jesus said about gays or homosexuals.. You can't , But I can quote you hundreds of quotes in the bible about Jesus talking about helping the less fortunate... And you call yourself Christian ???

To be saved one has to believe with the heart and mind in/trust Jesus as a personal Saviour apart from any work as I already stated.
No point feeling bad about something if you are not will to accept the remedy.

So after ones natural birth you have to be baptized into Christ...

You really don't watch the news or anything else for that matter. Trump gave the rich a 1.9 TRILLION tax break... And again , What I said is that We, as Americans should pay the same % of taxes... You Trumpist always have this idea that one day you are going to hit the lottery and don't want to pay the taxes on it Lol.!!! And as far as casting judgement, I do well keeping my side of the street clean and not cast judgement on others because it will never be. But obviously yours is perfectly clean so it is okay for you to cast judgement , right?... And I can only speak for myself and my experiences, If someone happens to get something out of this I am glad... And my only responsibility to God is MY actions... Not others. I say what I say because this is what I believe. Not directed to one individual or any. This are My thoughts and beliefs. Just as you have yours... And kudos to you you that you live such a godly life that you can cast judgement on others. I'm not even close...
I see it is perfectly acceptable for you to break your own rules. You will tell others they can't make judgment calls, or blanket statements, or accusations not grounded in fact, but you do it to other people all the time. You're hacked because you think you pay too much in taxes. So you want the people even richer than you punished more. And you want people under you punished as well, even though they are already paying more than they should be. I could care less about tax brackets because it isn't a morality issue. It does not affect innocent people being killed every day that should be protected by our society. You'll whine, over and over again, about how "rich" people should be taxed into the ground, but at the same time, after 6 pages in this thread, you won't deal with the issue of abortion at all. You won't condemn it, you won't explain why you can vote for candidates that support it with spiritual impunity, and you can't give a scriptural defense for your position. That isn't on me, even though your only defense is to try and make the problem about me. Yes, you are free to believe anything you want. But that freedom, for a professing Christian stops the moment you believe in something that directly opposes what God says. By your support of candidates that support abortion, you are directly in opposition to God. That doesn't have anything to do with me, or Trump, or anyone else. You can keep attempting to shrug off that behavior but it will never work because the lack of a calibrated moral compass rests on you.

There is no such thing as a perfect Christian. But there is a huge gulf of difference between occasionally making a non-deliberate mistake and consciously choosing a course of action that is blatantly amoral. Calling abortion exactly what it is, a sin, does not make me a superior Christian, and I recognize that tactic for exactly what it is. I know where the need to resort to that kind of tactic comes from, so you might want to dial down the smugness. It's the default come-back when someone already realizes their moral positions are not Biblical, but they have no wish to alter them to conform with what the Bible says. That doesn't have anything to do with me. I'm used to that non-starter. I see it on the boards all the time. I think people fail to realize that it's a blatant marker every time they resort to the "I know you are but what am I" kindergarten logical fallacy.

No, I support people that mind their own business. This is what I meant about keeping "your" side of the street clean. I have no right to cast judgement upon others! And again, not pure enough... And once again. I told you haw I dealt with MY abortion issue!!!

Yes, you told me your story. Concentrating on the abortion part, and ignoring the fact that the problem would not have presented itself at all if you had not been engaged in pre-marital sex. The fact is, you keep tossing it back over to my side because you can't defend your behavior, in regards to your politics. You can't defend it spiritually, and you can't defend it Biblically. If you actually could, you would have already done so instead of taking every trail you could to avoid the subject and make it about other people and not you. You don't even know what the word "judgment" means, Biblically. It's one of those words that people will pull like a gun to avoid dealing with bad behavior and deal with people who will still stubbornly say that there are ways a Christian just shouldn't act. I can point out that you shouldn't be voting for people that support abortion and it isn't "judging." It doesn't even come close. If I tell a mugger who is lifting my wallet he is wrong to rob me, I'm not "judging" him. I'm telling him what he is doing is wrong, because it is. If I tell him he's going to burn in hell for robbing me, I've now judged him. I'm saying your behavior is wrong, because it is. I'm not telling you your going to be punished. So the "judgement" component doesn't apply. Thanks for playing though.

Giving a woman her own choices in life and supporting abortion are entirely two different issues... You got it twisted... But believe what you want.
