What do you mean by he didn't give any sin up? Believers are not sinless, without fault or defect, flawless 100% of the time (1 John 1:8-10),
But you are confused when I tell you that he said he didn't give up any sin for Jesus.

yet believers do not practice sin either (1 John 3:9) and to "practice" describes one's lifestyle or bent of life, with no goal or effort to stop. Just bring on the sin!
He said he did not stop any sin for Jesus.
We have to believe to be saved (John 3:18; Acts 10:43; 13:39; 16:31; Romans 1:16; 3:22-28; 4:5; 1 Corinthians 1:21 etc..). Apparently you think that believing is not enough to save which implies that you believe the OBJECT of our BELIEF
Right, the Word!

(Jesus Christ and His finished work of redemption) is IN-sufficient to save. This also also explains why you continue to trust in acts of obedience/works for salvation.

The bad news is all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death... The good news is the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 3:23; 6:23) It's not about we don't have to obey God, but we want to obey God. Believers are new creations in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Obedience is not forced or legalistic for those who are born of God.
God does not force anyone to obey. How do you think you are forced when you obey?

Watering down sin

Those who are sinners and want to stay sinners, claim those talking about sin are watering it down
because condemning sin is evil, and claiming one has overcome sin or the world is hypocrisy.

I met a man who supported one of the most evil men in history.
From that time on I could not talk to them. This was just pure evil, it was not even a discussion.

To defend sinners by saying no one can call out sin, comes from the pit.
It is the basis of lawlessness, and those corrupted often by sinful desires and greed.
It is also what all those against the prophets said.

Again and again I sent my servants the prophets, who said,
'Do not do this detestable thing that I hate!'
But they did not listen or pay attention; they did not turn from their wickedness or
stop burning incense to other gods.
Therefore, my fierce anger was poured out; it raged against the towns of Judah and
the streets of Jerusalem and made them the desolate ruins they are today.
Jeremiah 44:4-6

The sinners passions posses their very souls and only evil intent spews from their lips, condemning
anyone who suggests what they are doing is wrong.

Jezebel was someone to fear, she caused the deaths of many thousands.
And in totally unjust countries the same thing happens to the righteous, because they will kill
anyone they see as a threat and will expose what they really are.

And those who preach such a gospel of ignoring sin are just leading the blind into the pit of hell.

Hebrews 10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
1 john 3: 9
Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

1 John 3: 6 Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

Yep. Hebrews is not talking about true believers, But people who continue in sin. Because although they go to church, They have not yet been saved.

He loved His creation, and loves you personally if you love Him by obeying Him.

Proverbs 8:17 I love those who love me,

1 Corinthians 8:3 But whoever loves God is known by God; and 2 John 1:6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands.

Psalm 91:14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;

1 Samuel 2:30 "Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: 'I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.' But now the LORD declares: 'Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.

John 14:21 The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him."
For God so loved the world that he GAVE his only begotten son that WHOEVER believes in him will never perish, but HAS eternal life!!!!

God loved you when you were his enemy.

Hebrews 10: 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
When are you going to stop insulting the spirit of Grace?

You got the difference first off. Anyone who stands against the Lords gospel and claims to know Him,
God help their soul, because it is in serious danger. A kingdom cannot be divided against itself.

I remember reading a believer saying, God would never send His people to Hell.

Jesus said people will say "Lord Lord" so they certainly thought He was their saviour but they were
mistaken. The most common failure of people is to believe the best will happen for them, but
those evil people over there will fry. I mean who actually makes themselves feel bad about something
out of choice, it is always easier to say everything will work out in the end.

Jesus told a bleak parable were a servant was chopped up into peices and put with the unbelievers.
Jesus is not soft and nice, only full of grace and favour, He is also a judge and keeper of the eternal
realities, which are absolute and final.

He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
Luke 12:46

I used to flinch at these words, and wonder why Jesus said them.
Now I know, the level of hatred, hypocrisy, blasphemy, sin, rebellion expressed with pure arrogance
of status and position, we have been warned and the Lords word will come to pass.
God help those who have nor fear or desire to respond to the Lords conviction of sin.
Luke 12:46

Didn't any of the Greek experts here pick up on this?

How come you just don't understand ANYTHING?
are you like this in real life too.

You got any friends?
I tend to doubt it.

WHERE did the other member say it's a sin not to be married?
Get your facts straight.
End of story.

Why is it people refuse to humble themselves enough to give it all to God. And then attack those who have?

Workers for want you to fear. Or deny your fear by watering down the law to a point where you can look at your own life and not live in fear that you are a sinner. Of course in doing so, they get you to look at other people who are WORSE sinner then you are.

They use things like. Well, I do not commit murder. Or hey, I do not look at porn. I have never raped anyone or I have been healed from drug addiction (not realisng even athiests have been healed of drug addiction) so I must be ok with God. God loves me, so he will not cast me out as long as I continue to live the way I do. And preach in his name and attack these sinners who call themselves christian.
So you give up sins for God but it means nothing to God like you were an atheist? You really think that atheists don't sin?

its all a ploy by satan to deceive people into falling for religion. It worked powerfully with the jews. As and we see, it has worked powerfully in the church.
What?!

If you can not look at yourself as wretched people apart from God at this very moment, (Paul saw himself in this state) One must search deeply and find out why you think you are righteous. And why you think you deserve salvation. because you have yet to be like paul. Who was a pharisee who puffed his chest because he was so righteous, and above th law so he was ok. While attacking tax collectors who fall on their knees as sinners. Then became one of the most powerful teachers of Grace ever.
Before Paul was saved, he repented for three days.

Repent. Before it is too late. Not psuedo repentance. But true, mind emptying, bancrupt in spirit repentance, which leads to salvation
So you believe in repenting of sins to get saved?

Except that you do not teach anything in the Bible and this is more than evident.

Since you have been preaching your doctrine here,

the one thing that comes through loud and clear is that you nullify the work of the

cross, put the work of Jesus to open shame by teaching His work was not sufficient to save and replace it with your work
( cleverly renamed obedience).
Once again someone on this thread states that it is not necessary to obey by saying that obedience is CLEVERLY RENAMED OBEDIENCE....

As if obedience is something that needs to be hidden in our theology.

OBEDIENCE IS EVERYTHING.

You don't obey...
You're not saved.

Get your facts straight.
End of story.

this is too much. my brain is about to explode.

the guy who refuses to recognize the actual definition of the word sin just wrote an essay about watering down sin.

I think we have the most un-self aware person on the planet.

I have to put you on ignore. I can't take this personal trip through your thoughts and emotions anymore.

good luck with your personal psychology exam.

Let be honest

Who does this?

Those who do not admit to sin because they do not know what sin is? (Water down the law)

Or those who have repented of their rejection and anti-god views and come to God in faith, who have acknowledged they not only have been healed of many sins, They are still GROWING in Christ and learning more and more as they grow how deep a sinner they really are?
But did they know ANY of their sins and obey anything to get saved?

So you give up sins for God but it means nothing to God like it were an atheist? You really think that atheists don't sin?
Just because you say it is for God does not mean anything, The people in James thought they had faith, the people of Hebrews and galations trying to return to law thought they did it for God. They jews who killed christ thought they did it for God

You tell me, I have no idea what this is in response to.

Before Paul was saved, he repented for three days.

So you believe in repenting of sins to get saved?
he did? And if he did, Did he repent of sins, or who he was?

I believe in repenting. There is no way possible to know every possible sin before your saved, stop lieing to yourself thinking you repented of sin, you can’trepent of things you have no no idea what they are.

But did they know ANY of their sins and obey anything to get saved?
They have one thing to obey

Believe in the name of the name jesus Christ and you will be saved, This promise is to you and your household.

When are you going to do this, and stop tryign to earn salvation by your pseudo obedience?

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
Eph 4:31
Just asking, but are you pointing out this verse in order to make the point that it is saying "[do this] so that you will be saved [in the end]"?

...or acknowledging that the preceding verse says, "And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby YE ARE sealed unto the day of redemption"... ? [speaking to people who ARE saved / have eternal life]

I cannot tell which one you are suggesting (and the remainder of your post didn't help clarify it either). Thanks.

And preach in his name and attack these sinners who call themselves christian.

In the eyes of some, Gods people are hypocritical sinners who believe they are holy and pure
but are not. This is quite a judgemental attitude on the state of what the cross achieves in
others lives and that they are not in the Kingdom.

Only those who know the churches and are willing to judge like this will agree.
I am not nor ever will. The faithful praying servant of God who I have not met or who
lives devoted to God it is not for me to judge or claim I have any rights to condemn.

If you as a reader and believer wish to go with the accuser of the brethren and walk in his
Kingdom, then everything will start to make sense to you. I am acutely aware ones Kingdom
and loyalty define ones outlook. And you can give your allegiance away, and fall into delusion.
If this is permanent time will tell, but I counsel that this is sin and endangers ones soul.

Unbelief. Once you are bound to unbelief in Gods work in the hearts of His people, then of course
sin is our master, and we must believe Christ has cleansed us in His sight, and we are safe in His
arms and His promises, even though our hearts deny this and love does not echo in our experience
and the heart is just a pool of out of control emotion and sin.

There is always hope for those who call on Jesus and desire His ways.

But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.
23. Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed.
24. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith.
25. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.
26. You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus,
27. for all of you who were baptised into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
Gal 3:21-27

You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

Yep. Hebrews is not talking about true believers, But people who continue in sin. Because although they go to church, They have not yet been saved.
We have scriptures that tell us about true believers, and we have scriptures about HOW TO STAY SAVED.

1 John 2:24 As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

IF IT DOES?! If it does?! As for you, SEE THAT WHAT YOU HAVE HEARD REMAINS in you. IF IT DOES YOU WILL REMAIN IN HIM.

1 Timothy 3:6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil.

1 Corinthians 11:31 But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.

1 Corinthians 9:27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

DISQUALIFIED means no longer saved:
See 2 Corinthians 13:5, Hebrews 10:31, Luke 12:46, Galatians 4:19, John 15:6, Luke 13:28, Matthew 8:12, and Matthew 5:13.

For God so loved the world that he GAVE his only begotten son that WHOEVER believes in him will never perish, but HAS eternal life!!!!

God loved you when you were his enemy.
God so loved the WORLD.
That is about God loving His creation.
God does not love you personally until you love Him.

When are you going to stop insulting the spirit of Grace?
That is what you do.

Do you want to tell me what you think these scriptures mean:

Matthew 5:13 [ Salt and Light ] “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

Matthew 8:12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Luke 13:28“There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.

Luke 14:35 It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out. “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”

...oh, and the verse following states, "And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, as also in Christ God forgave you."
