Senator Fraser Anning egged after lashing out at Muslims: ‘They are the perpetrators’

Senator Fraser Anning has been egged at an event in Melbourne where protestors and supporters clashed over his ugly NZ massacre remarks.

In his comments on the parliamentary letterhead on Friday, Senator Anning lashed out at New Zealand for the way it handled immigration.

“I am utterly opposed to any form of violence within our community, and I totally condemn the actions of the gunman,” Senator Anning said in his statement.

“However, while this kind of violent vigilantism can never be justified, what it highlights is the growing fear within our community, both in Australia and New Zealand, of the increasing Muslim presence.

“As always, left-wing politicians and the media will rush to claim that the causes of today’s shootings lie with gun laws or those who hold nationalist views but this is all clichéd nonsense.

“The real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place.”

Senator Anning went on to say that while Muslims may have been victims of attacks, he claimed they were also perpetrators. and blamed deaths on “the entire religion of Islam”. “It is the religious equivalent of fascism,” he said.

He ended with a passage from the bible and said those who followed a violent religion that called on them to murder “cannot be too surprised when someone takes them at their word and responds in kind”.

While evidence of him sharing that statement has been removed from his social media counts he tweeted:

I have no comment concerning what was quoted concerning Australian Senator Fraser Anning because I don't believe 99% of what the news media reports. And I wasn't there to hear it. I do know there's no such thing as free speech anymore for anyone who is a Conservative.

At any rate, why is it perfectly acceptable for the media (and Locutus) to continually blame, harangue, and accuse conservative Christians for anything wrong in the world? Any negative unverified information against Christians and REPs is considered reliable news and the media will milk it over & over to brainwash the public. Nobody on the DEM's side seems to see the irony in their complaining about religious injustice while committing those very injustices against Christian conservatives. The people who are outraged about Senator Anning's comments regarding immigration saying he's "making it less safe for Australians overseas", are the same people who for days publicly bullied and attempted to break down a school boy for wearing a MAGA cap and are making it unsafe for not only school children, but anyone who is a Trump supporter. Don't these bigots see the prejudice and intolerance in their own comments? Don't they see how dangerous a world they're making it by trying to criminalize anyone they don't agree with? The depravity is astounding.

Before you launch your next retort, Locutus, here are some facts about me.

I’m a follower of Jesus Christ but am not a member of any particular denomination or organized religious group.
I am not a Republican.
I have both conservative and liberal views.
I did not vote for Trump, but I absolutely pray for all of our leaders as is written in God’s Word.
One of my oldest and dearest friends (and former employer) is Muslim and we freely discuss politics and religion without there ever being an issue.
I have little to no faith in any news media, especially the links you post because they're always slanted.

Was it my imagination or did the Aussie senator try to round house kick the kid, too?

So anyway, the media makes a hero out of the kid smashing the senator in the head with an egg, but a school kid wearing a cap honoring his president and showing tolerance to a Native American bullying him they try to portray as an antagonist.

And Loctus, you're in favor of that?

Both kids were out of line in my opinion, although the situations are different.

Enquiring minds want to know ...

What did the "school kid wearing a cap honoring his president and showing tolerance to a Native American bullying him" do that was "out of line"???

Locutus, what charge do you hold against the 17 yr old wearing the maga cap?

Have you viewed the viral video, "Nick Sandmann: The Truth In 15 Minutes" ?

Nathan Phillips, "the old geezer" as you call him (isn't that a disrespectful and derogatory term?), is an outright liar and there is evidence in that video to prove it.

Honestly, I know this is funny. And I chuckled initially. :D

But it also brings back memories, as did the video of Nathan Phillips trying to intimidate Nick Sandmann by banging a drum inches from his face.

After my loving father died, my siblings and I were subjected to years of physical and emotional torture in a foster home. One of the things they did on a regular basis was line us kids up against the wall and proceed to break down our spirits by shouting directly into our ears, waving and clapping their hands in our faces, snapping a leather belt beside our heads, withholding food and/or water, etc. We were not to cry, flinch, or make any noise but instead remain emotionless. If we failed, we had to endure a much more intense punishment. These mostrous foster parents succeeded in brainwashing each of us to obey their every command by convincing us we had no human rights.

When I look at that adult Native American beating the drum in Nick Sandmann's face, my heart breaks watching that young man trying to diffuse Nathan Phillips intimidation tactics by remaining still and smiling uncomfortably. You would think an adult would have more freaking sense than doing such a thing to a kid. But I truly believe Mr. Phillips was afraid of the four angry Black Israelites who were verbally assaulting the Native Americans there. And when those Black Israelites shouted at the Native Americans to go after the school boys on the steps of the monument, the elderly Phillips led them to do just that.

There is no way any of those school kids were guilty of anything. Their human rights were violated.

The old geezer should nevah have walked into the yutes safe space.
bad enough he ventured that way ... worse that he lied about it and said the kid blocked him when it is clear mr. phillips purposely walked up to the kids.

mr. phillips got another 15 mins of fame out of the deal.

some law firm may get some $$$ out of the deal.

hope/pray the kid makes it through his 15 mins relatively unscathed.

brutal awakening to the games people play imho ...

Thank you, dear reneweddaybyday. I would be lying if I said it hasn't affected me. It has, although God allowed me to meet with my foster parents years later and forgive them. That was an amazing display of God's miraculous grace. They've since passed from this world. I was also compelled to become a court advocate for people (men and women) who were abused. And the Lord gave me a heart to help young people in crisis, particularly those who have gotten in trouble with the law. If the Lord required my past suffering to prepare me to intervene for hurting souls, then of course it was worth it.

Well, I think I derailed Locutus thread enough. Sorry, Loc. ;)

I am a survivor of abuse myself. and I agree that it affects us decades down the line. forgiveness is key to remaining kindhearted and not bitter. God bless your heart for reaching out to others and helping them through their rough times.
