Satan uses scripture to cause condemnation, so any conviction feelings are not God even when from His word.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, rom 8:1
who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. rom 8:4

For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
Jude 1:4

For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you,
because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction.

People can fall away from Jesus see Galatians 5:4; 1 Corinthians 10:12; 2 Peter 3:17. We are warned not to drift away, Hebrews 2:1, not to draw back, Hebrews 10:38; to hold on and stand firm, Hebrews 3:14, 1 Corinthians 15:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:15. We are told how not to fall, 2 Peter 1:10, how not to be hardened, Hebrews 3:8,13.

God can throw people out, Matthew 22:13, blot people out, Exodus 32:32-33, remove your lampstand, Revelation 2:5, sign you a place with unbelievers, Luke 12:46, and cut you off, Romans 11:19-21. We can become defiled, Hebrews 12:15. Our lamps can burn out, Matthew 25:8. We can cause ourselves to have to have Christ formed in us again, Galatians 4:19.

We are told how to remain in Jesus, John 6:56, and if we do Jesus will remain in us, John 15:4. Jesus tells us of the good if we remain in him, John 15:5, and of the bad when we do not, John 15:6. Jesus exhorts us to remain in him, John 15:9, 10, Acts 14:22, and 1 John 2:24.
If we have to endlessly read about how YOU work to maintain your salvation, while falling from the Grace of our Lord, at least give us some tunes!!!

Not in that order. This sounds similar to the 5 step plan of salvation by the church of Christ (Campbellism) only they say you must hear, believe, repent, confess, get baptized and only AFTER you have completed all 5 steps, then you will be saved.
I can prove with scripture where Campbell is wrong.

We are saved the moment that we place our faith (belief, trust, reliance) in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
That just is not true.
I ask you questions and tell you about scriptures, but you don't believe them and retain them and scriptures are tossed out and ignored by you.

Those who have done so have already repented in the process of changing their mind and choosing to place their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
That is not confessing with your mouth.

Calling on the name of the Lord presupposes faith in Jesus Christ for salvation and is not some additional requirement after we have been saved through faith. When we call upon the name of the Lord to save us, inherent in our calling is the essential faith that Jesus can and will save us. God promises to save those who, in faith, call upon His name. "Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved." (Romans 10:13). In other words, everyone who invokes the name of God for mercy and salvation, by or in the name of Jesus, will be saved.
Jesus says you can't say Jesus is your Lord if you haven't obeyed him.
In regards to confess, I've heard certain people misinterpret Romans 10:9,10 in such a way that means we can believe unto righteousness today, but are still lost until we confess Christ, which may be next week and then we are finally saved next week, but that is not what Paul is talking about here. Also, someone who is moot (unable to speak) would remain lost according to that erroneous interpretation of Romans 10:9,10 for failing to verbally "confess with their mouth."

Confessing with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in our heart that God raised Him from the dead are not two separate steps to salvation but are chronologically together. Romans 10:8 - But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, in your mouth and in your heart" (TOGETHER) that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, (notice the reverse order from verse 9-10) - that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Confess/believe; believe/confess.
You have to confess and repent of your sins. No way around the Way.

How do you think they should not repent of the false gospel they are involved in?

And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother

Thankfully this is between them and the Lord.
People have so many reasons why they are where they are.
And often it is because the Lord has not entered their hearts it has always just been ideas
and actions within services. In the quiet room things are very different and uncertain.

For me it was standing alone, with no one else around lifting a song of praise to God.
This time between me and Him was precious and He anointed me in my heart.
Everything builds from our personal encounter with the Saviour of All.

Almost everything flows from our connection, being in the vine with an open honest heart
letting Him minister and work with us. Amen, thank you Jesus.

When will you be honest with yourself

Your security is in your works, in your ability to remain in christ. In your ability to fight sin. Not in God

God said I am secure, He said I have eternal life, He said I am and will be preserved. He said I am his child. He said I will never be lost.

Stop trysting yourself and for once in your life put it all in Gods hands. You will be amazed at the freedom you have to glorify God in ways you never imagined.
If you are not obeying, then how can you feel secure?

Even though the Jews were focused heavily on circumcision in particular (Acts 15:1) the law is not merely limited to circumcision or ceremonial laws in general, but also includes the moral aspect of the law (Matthew 22:37-40). So "not saved by works" is not merely limited to ceremonial laws, but works in general. (Romans 4:5-6; Titus 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:9 etc..).
Jesus came and gave us new laws. Paul explains to the Jews how the purification works of the law no longer clean and justify them, and Paul explains to the Gentiles WHY THE PURIFICATION WORKS OF THE LAW NO LONGER KEEP THEM OUT.

Good grief choose the Truth.

What we hate is hypocritical behavior.

What it comes down to is a chance to shut our mouths and to put into practice what you preach. If you are not Peterjens, why hesitate to say so?

Is it simply because you are Peter, and you have been deceptive and sinning through breaking the rules of this site? Are you hesitant because you don't want your whole holiness and obedience act to come crashing down?
