"Mysteries of life are just that, a mystery. I have learned that our surroundings and
our mental attitude effects our stability in daily life. A calmness of the mind shall always
be a factor in striving to live an orderly and manageable life...and it is not easy to do.
By the grace of God, I have learned to make a daily effort to strive to apply God's 'principles'
of life, in my attitude and behavior...Thank God, it works so long as I work at it...each day."

Regarding your dreams, through study, it has caused me to believe that dreams are the building of synapses while we sleep. All day the brain collects information. It stores it up until we sleep. Then glial cells restructure our brain. Any new information makes connections to old accepted beliefs. Any old beliefs get snipped. It’s like a web of information where sights, sounds, memories, and emotions are all connected. This is why if something happens at work, as it is getting filed, it crosses paths neurologically with your grade four science teacher, and an old house you used to live in. There is some relationship but not a clear one. This plays out as dreams. Humans learn allegorically. These are like pages of books, ripped out then bound together creating a new book.

This is important to understand because every experience has emotion, and sights, and smells present which is all information to be filed. If our emotions all day are negative, then usually we have a negative bias on everything that happens. So while the one guy drops his coffee and says, “Ah crap, why does this always happen to me? This day sucks!” The optimistic person drops his coffee and says, “Oh well, I was probably drinking too much coffee anyways. I was meaning to clean this floor for days. What a break!” The point is as your mind rebuilds itself, filing the days events it taps into happy memories not negative ones. You can’t choose what happens to you but you can choose how to react to it. This becomes your attitude, and believe me, it’s contagious. Clearly you are going through some things right now. If you go through your day looking for things to be happy and thankful for, you find them. If you go looking for things to upset you and how stupid people can be, again, you find them. Often this can be in the same situation.

This is how we are “transformed, by the renewing of our minds”. Believing God is with us, and will help us is a good start.

Wow... that was the most informative thing I have read. I guess I don’t realize how much what we do can play factors. Like I have talked to others who are prophets and prophetess and have dreams that tell the future and stuff, that scares me sometimes. Some dreams I have are scary... tormenting just tooo much!!

Is there a common theme to the dreams? I looked up about help with recurring nightmares on Google and the mayo clinic had some ideas on what may help. Do you have a doctor or therapist that you trust and who is helpful? Talking to a pastor may help but at times pastors may refer you to someone else if it is outside their realm of expertise. Pastors often can help with spiritual things though. I have had recurrent dreams about one of my cats before but I think it was because I was concerned about him eating enough being such a little cat and all.

Yes it all started after my 10 year old niece passed. I developed anxiety and depression. I then started having dreams about killing .. dreary graves all of it. Just really scary scary stuff the way things happened.

I went to my pastor he did help once, I was to ashamed to go back.

Thank you so much. I’m glad you understand it is too much. The other day I just sat and cried. Like I’m learning to lay it at Jesus feet and not worry. I don’t know why I carry so much on me.....thank you thank you! You have blessed me with your words! God Bless you!
Your heavenly Father cares very much for you! More than you even realize right now.
I think it would help you to go through the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) and write in a journal every promise that Jesus makes. They all apply to you personally. You are incredibly loved and cared for and you never have to worry. God knows every need you have and He loves you with an everlasting love. Be blessed!

What I have learned about scary dreams is that they are caused either by our own anxious thoughts ("If my little niece died, can I really trust God?", "Will I lose someone else that I love?" etc.) or they're caused by satanic attacks, but mostly they're caused by both. When we give in to worry, satan takes hold of that to torment us with it. That's why we need to give it ALL into God's hands so that He can fight our battles for us.

I have a large family and when I see the way the world is going, how much it hates Jesus and His followers, I can start feeling very anxious about the safety of my children and grandchildren. It can really weigh me down. But when I remember that I can trust God with my future, that He will never leave me---even in the worst of times--then I verbally acknowledge Him. I will say, even out loud, "Lord, I trust You. Whatever comes our way, I will lean into You and let You have your perfect way." When I do that, Father ALWAYS comes to me with peace that just flows through me. He lets me know that He is accepting my sacrifice of trust and submission, and He shows me that He delights in me.

You need healing from this trauma and God is the One who can give it to you. He WANTS to heal you completely and give you JOY where your pain has been, TRUST where your anxieties are. You really can trust Him 100%.

Thank you! That’s so comforting! I think everyday that God forgets and doesn’t care anymore! Thank you. I need to stay in the Word! God bless you!

Thank you so much! I needed to hear that today! I keep having bad anxiety! I forget to trust God! I have many anxieties! I need to leave it all to Christ and not worry about it.

I worry about the world and so many things! Literally everything you said your speaking to me! Thank you so much for that encouragement and your words! They help so much! God Bless you!

I'm so happy for you!!!

The other day, I was reading Psalm 34: 15. It says: "The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry."
This time, when I read it, the Holy Spirit revealed some of the depth of that to me.

As a parent, I can discern my children's individual voices in a crowd. When my children were babies, I could discern, by their cries, if they were grouchy, hungry, tired, or in distress by the time they were two months old. Newborns only have one cry. In just a few months, they have different cries that require different levels of attention.

When visiting with family and friends, my husband and I could carry on a conversation with adults while simultaneously listening for any signs of trouble from our children playing down the hall. We could tell from the sounds of their voices if all was going well or not.
I'm no super hero. That's what God gives to parents. But HE does that for us magnified by some number I have never heard of.
God's eyes are ALWAYS on us, watching to see if we're about to fall; or if we've fallen, how He can comfort us and use the bad stuff to do something wonderful in us. HIS ears are always and specially attentive to OUR voice---MY voice, YOUR voice, not in a general sense but in a very PERSONAL sense.

You are God's child and HE. CARES. FOR. YOU! He's not far away. He's right here where you need Him.
Isn't that an awesome thing to think about?? How deep the Father's love is for us---not just as a group, but for each of us individually!
