Did you not read? This has NOTHING TO DO with being "saved" or born again: we are not talking of salvation, but being qualified for the rapture.

So you are mistaken. It is not "soteriology" at all. It is getting ready.

SAVED people - BORN AGAIN people - will be left behind. Believe it, for it is TRUTH. Hopefully not a big percentage - but God knows who - for He knows what is in the heart.

so jumping up in the air before the rapture means we are ready? move to a desert island - you think that'll stop you from being a sinner? TRY IT. luther found out. so did paul.

forget it pal.

i plan to BE READY TO FACE PERSECUTION AND OVERCOME BY MY TESTIMONY AND BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB.
Strange. I plan on being delivered from all these things. God did not set me an appointment, and I certainly will not set it myself. So while many are dying for their testimony, I will be walking on streets of Gold, with the rest of the Bride. You can see them in Rev. 7.

Matthew 13
The Parable of the Weeds
24He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25 but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weedsc among the wheat and went away. 26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27 And the servantsd of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’”

Let both grow together until the harvest,
and at harvest time I will tell the reapers,
Gather the weeds first
and bind them in bundles to be burned,
but gather the wheat into my barn.’”

1 Corinthians 5:52
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

THIS HAPPENS AT THE END. THE VERY END.

Dear Lecoop, Christ did not pray that we should be taken out of the world. In order for Christians to be taken out of the world BEFORE the Second Coming, He would have had to get the approval of God the Father. Christ did NOT pray to God the Father to remove His Church during the time of great tribulation associated with a future final antichrist. So, we should believe what Christ prayed in JOHN 17:15 and thank God Christ will keep us from the evil one, not that Christ will take us out of the world. In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington

Yet it is written, all liars have their part in the lake of fire.
Fornicators will never see the kingdom of God.

"9 Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

But what happens if someone just like this today, chooses to go back in these sins once they have been washed? Notice Paul said WERE. They were not at that time doing the same sins - they repented.

No one is going to pull something over on God: for He knows the heart. If someone is trapped in sin, but hates it and repents quickly, of course they are forgiven. But some are trying to con God, and think He will not notice their sin. Always know, NO sin will EVER get into heaven. If someone has unconfessed sin that they have been hoping God would not notice, they will be left behind. There can be NO DOUBT about this.

I'm confused by nothing in this regard, and have no intention of arguing this ridiculous elitist pseudo-gnostic supplanting of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ; I'm just briefly responding for the sake of others. Your handling of scripture shows no language knowledge whatsoever, like your reference to Philippians 2:12.

Yes, we are to walk holy, righteous, and upright; not using grace as a license to sin. But the Gospel isn't about fearfully qualifying for some special event. If "faith" is believing in a future event, that's not salvific faith.

The origin of Pre-Trib Rupture is NOT Paul and John. I could post a thesis-length expose with volumes of scripture, but it would be an exercise in futility. People believe what they know rather than knowing what to believe.
Perhaps you need to study 1 Thes. 5, where Paul CLEARLY shows that the rapture comes just before the Day of the Lord. It is your imagination that the pretrib rapture is not in the bible. It has been there all along. It is also there in 2 Thes. 2, but few believe what Paul really intended there either. In fact, John shows us the church in heaven, in Rev. 7, BEFORE he ever opens the 70th week, much less gets to the second half - but few understand John's chronology.

You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! NO sin can enter into heaven. That is why God gave us 1 John 1:9. No, some of the church is not ready, because they harbor unforgiveness; others because they have one foot in the world and the other in the church: they love the world; others are not ready because they are lukewarm; others because they are in sin and LIKE IT, and are not ready to repent. God knows the heart. NO ONE will pull a con on God. Oh, I will add another catagory: some are not ready because they think some sins are TOO SMALL for God to notice. Oh! That is another con.

That prayer was for the CHURCH AGE. Did you ever see someone disappear the moment they were born again? I sure haven't! No, they had to stay. But we are at the END. The day is coming soon when God WILL take us out. Why? We have no appointment with what is coming.

I am a child of the Most High God, in the last days. The old timers LONGED to see this day, but God has us living today. The rapture was not for those days of old; it is for the END: the end of the church age. Why should one fear being caught up? It will be one of the greatest events of earth's history.

This scripture has NOTHING TO DO with the rapture. You are confusing the parable of the tares, that will happen the moment Jesus descends in Rev. 19, with the rapture that will take place before the 70th week even begins.

CHRISTIAN PERFECTIONISM IS ANOTHER HERESY
My heart is clean. I have been cleansed from ALL unrighteousness. I just use 1 John 1:9 a LOT!

The sins God will NOT forgive are those not confessed. I guess you know, some Christians are in sin and LIKE IT, and are not confessing it. Some think their sin is too small, and God won't notice, and they are not confessing. And some are in unforgivness and just WILL NOT forgive - so their sin remains.

God isn't going to do something with/to His Church that He doesn't have His Son Jesus Christ pray about. Christ didn't pray to take His Church out of the world; therefore, His Church will not be taken out of the world before the Second Coming of Christ. The pre-tribulation rapture disagrees with the prayer of Christ in John 17:15, and prays to be taken out of the world because of the coming of the evil one, the antichrist. Christ said, "I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one." Christ's sovereign will will be done on earth as it is in heaven. During the future apostasy, the Church will be delivered from the evil one. The Church will not be taken off the earth 7 years before the second coming. Take care. In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington

For 2000 years the church has been in the world. God did not take her out of the world. However, the marriage supper of the Lamb, which the bride will be at, takes place before Jesus returns to set up His kingdom. So, there is a small problem with your interpretation.
