Well I didn't see stability as something that has to be opposite of adventure, just like mental/emotional stability in the way that you feel good with yourself, you can control your emotions, and feel on the right place to be, that gives you confidence.
With confidence it's easier to look for adventure, and adventure gives you confidence, I don't know if that makes sensee hahaha that's the way I see it, but of course, it is very personal and maybe you see them in a whole different angle; for me they are tied together in my top 5 :)
Thats very true. I see stability as something that means grounded in the way their life is going ang makes good choses. Financially responsible, has had a secure career and career path, emotionaly good, not a lunatic.
Adventurous on the other hand may mean they like to take road trips to obscure locations or try sky diving or backbacking thru yellowstone for 6 weeks.

I think that fits a new category : LIFE RISKING hahaha. Adventurous for me is just trying something new, live new experiences, I mean healthy experiences, or a sport, maybe go camping, maybe just learn a new language but the point is, being active and do something. Sky diving doesn't sound too bad for me, though, but I'd have to think about it twice lol.

You say these adventurous things as if they were bad.

You used the words Good Career and Secure Career along with Financially responsible. All of these add up to Securities. Which is another Category. Not that there is anything wrong with that but I am regretting putting both in the same poll. As the differences aren't that different.

Like for instance some women like marrying a Financially Secure person, as like an insurance policy. I was thinking of Stability in terms of predictability.

I think being financially secure is part of predictability. I mean there are no ablsolutes, but lets say a man has been a teacher fo 12 years then he becomes a vice principal. He is on a clear career path which seems stable and somewhat predictable. He may chnge jobs moving to Principal and then maybe even some other sort of school administrator but his future work is predictable.

I guess security can mean the same thing but I also think of security as him being a protector. Someone who is not going to let anyone do anything to you, whether that be physical harm or emotion stress.

And i didnt mean adventurous things are bad but they are not opposites of stability. They are completely different and great if you are adventurous. I am not so they wouldnt be great for me. I may go camping every now and then but I am not sky diving and nor do I want to worry about my hubby launching himself out of an air craft.

i've had hour long phone conversations with girls where the only things i've said were ''hello?'' and ''well, i guess i should let you go...''

i feel your pain

I value peace and quiet, if he talks to much, thats a huge deal breaker. Where was that on your poll!!!
