how does a hunger satisfy hunger and a thirst satisfy thirst?

i do agree that probably stuff-mart has marginally better ones than all-is-$1
but gentleman, a sense of humor is not something we ought to cheap out on. i suggest saving up if you must, but go for quality
No...we give a cup of water in Jesus name and to anyone who asks. This is what the sheep do. And shepherds. They lead us beside still waters, and our cup overflows.

In Christ walking in His ways, we are to be overflowing with food and water for others to be
fed by.
The hunger being met is the walking with love and purpose, knowing the will of God and His path.
The thirst being me is the filling with the Holy Spirit and the joy that flows out to others. Amen

i dont understand how some say we should seek some kind of hunger or seek to be thirsty, given what Christ pretty plainly says - partly that's why i started this.
i hear sermons and songs saying, God we're thirsty for you, and God we need a fresh anointing, and God we hunger for you, we need more - and i am like, isn't this total opposite of Bible??
so, could you explain more, what do you mean, how does a Christian receive thirst? maybe by forsaking the Lord, becoming faithless, and rejecting His gift??
I think 2 different things are being conflated here.
There is the completion of ever hungering and thirsting for eternal Life and justification done when we are born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
But there is an ongoing, appropriate hunger we should have to refresh and renew our minds. We need to pick up the Spiritual Manna (the Word) DAILY. We need to ingest and digest (meditate upon) DAILY. We need to pray for others and ourselves CONTINUOUSLY. So it is right to say that hungering and thirsting for those things is good and ongoing.

I am filled by God's provisions (GRACE) found in Christ by placing my Faith exclusively in Christ and Him Crucified (Believing who Jesus is, and what Jesus has done). Therefore I receive all the benefits of this "Resurrection Life" by understanding that we have been planted together [Christ and ourselves] in the likeness of His Death [Romans 6:5, Psalm 103:2].
Romans 8:13, Zechariah 4:6 - Without Jesus you can do nothing (John 15:5)!!!!!
Without the knowledge of the Cross for sanctification, you will die (spiritually).

But I don't think it answers the question you were trying to answer.
Recognizing your spiritual hunger and spiritual thirst is not receiving a spiritual hunger or spiritual thirst.
Do you see the difference?
