I would like to suggest that a lot of us Christian Americans have been falsely thought to think that we can't live sin free lives. For example my pastor says "we cant be sinless, but we should sin less". And obviously I agree with that and I know I am a sinner saved by grace. But it's that kind of thinking that gives the devil a foothold. Its that kind of thinking that keeps us enslaved to the very thing God died to set us free from. Also there are various scriptures to support that we can indeed do all we can to live sin free lives. Such as God wont let us be tempted beyond what we can bear and will provide a way out. So if God says he will provide a way out, that he is able to make me stand, and that his Holy spirit within me is greater than he who is in than world. Then why do we keep THINKING that we won't be able to live sin free lives. Of course, maybe its just me maybe noone else has been taught to think this way. However for my brothers and sisters who have been taught this just as I have you might want to join me in just thinking how Jesus thinks and not how the world or America thinks.

Stay Woke 🙏✌

There are other statements in your post that I may address later. For now, I'll choose to focus on this last word, "woke".

To borrow a line from Inigo Montoya, "I do not think it means what you think it means."

american culture is world culture. usa is the world, its every country that has american music stars and hollywood. it has its influence that is not without question.

in this situation i agree with your pastor. we cannot be sinless. there is no need to sacrifice anyone or anything if people can have sinless of their own will. i say that in love not to spite or debate

Nothing like "Americanized thinking" right? From the tip of Peru(South American) to the Canadians(North Americans) and all the Central Americans between they all think and believe America is a nation and not a Continent.

i am sure he had good intentions in writing and no harm in his heart for americans. americans are not a race, some are europeans, some natives, some hispanics...

i believe our dear friend wall was talking about the influence of american culture.

Where are these sinlesness in the flash preachers mass produced??

Because they keep on coming to forums to preach it..

Is there a denomination somewhere that preaches that people can live lives without ever sinning?? What is the name of this religion??

To be racist means you must unjustly judge a race of people..

There is no such thing as an American race..

I should apologize if I offended you though(I do). I know the op is meaning US and using slang, lol

In Say South and Central American nations or when traveling abroad when the customs officers ask "where are you from?" say "United States" or they take you aside for an in-depth examination of which one of the nations in the Americas your from and why you were secretive about it(about 6-7 hours when I made that boo boo, lol).

Interesting well in my online interactions I notice american christians can be very comfortable with their sinning and readily admit to it but then actually dont do anything about it. Which seems absolutely bizarre because we have a saviour who can free us from our sins. Not just cover them up he tells us to go, and sin nor more.

Okay im going to address everyone all at once. Obviously I still fall short and if I claimed to be without sin that would be a lie. However, if I claim to have had an encounter with God how then can I go on sinning. Also, I was just trying to address the way that we think about sin, because thinking that we will sin again; is basically us telling God that we dont trust him to provide a way out when we are tempted. It has everything to do with how we have been taught to think about Christianity in America and has absolutely nothing to do with race.

Essentially, if God plants a new tree within me and I think that at some point the tree will produce sinful fruit it will and then the entire tree will be ruined. I'm just trying to help some of my brothers in sisters in Christ who may have been taught this way break free.

That's because a lot of us have been taught to think that we will always sin, which minimalizes the seriousness of sin. We stay stuck thinking even after coming to Jesus(the only sinless man) that we will always sin, which is what provides the devil the foothold he needs to keep tripping us up.

In this instance I said it so my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ dont fall asleep in their faith.

When YOU have become completely sinless,
then come and tell us about your doctrine of sinlessness.

While YOU are still sinning, it is quite hypocritical to preach THE REST OF US should be sinless.

In spite of the terrible sins that David committed (which was as bad as you can get), it did not stop God from His Son being called the "Son of David." Those who walk in the spirit will always have shortcomings (acts of sin) until the trump sounds.

This is why we must understand what justification is and why it is the first subject in the book of Romans. It lays down the foundation as I go through sanctification.

Justification gives me the ability to get back up from every failure no matter how many times and stand up and go through this process and learn it. Justification gives us a legal standing with God that is not cancelled because of the acts of sin. So if I fail (and we will) at this same thing a thousand times - God forbid! We are a work in progress. Remember Jesus said I did not come to condemn (John 3:17).

Justification is not what we do, and not what I am, and not what I worked for. It is what Jesus did and my faith in it that gives me the standing with God that I need to carry on my Christian experience. Sometime I do it well, and sometimes I do it not so well, but his justifying Grace will not fail unless my faith fails. It is just if I have never sinned and just if I have always obeyed.

Pastor Loren Larson - JSM

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1).

All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Cor. 5:18-19

Again you have misinterpreted I have sinned with my thoughts not my actions. And again this is about the way think about sin. And the way that I become and we all come completely sinless is changing the way we think about sin and become aware of the lies we have been fed.
