Holier than thou are we?
What makes you think your sin is any less stagnant to God as those sins?

James said if we break even the least. We are guilty of all.

I would not go around worrying about what sins are ok and what sins discredit you. ALL sins make you (apart from grace) fall short of Gods glory and would condemn you to hell.
How is what he said "holier that thou" Did you read what he was replying to? Did you read the LAST LINE of the post that he was replying to. Maybe you should before you judge TLC209

Is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit the only sin that the Holy Spirit will convict us of? That's what the post he was replying to said. Go back and read.

SO do you believe that the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the only sin that the Holy Spirit will convict a believer of?

And for me, I believe under the grace dispensation, there is no more unforgiveable sin, you can only sin against the HS by rejecting Jesus as your divine substitute. As John 16:8-9 says, that is the only sin the HS will ever convict the unbeliever of.
So GB9, are you and Eternally Grateful agreeing with and defending this part of Guojing's post? Read the part I put in red. I partial quoted it, not to take it out of context, but to make it easier. You can click on the link to see the context.

Love the fruit inspector:ROFL:

Sorry, I read the post wrong. It does not say that blasphemy is the only sin the Holy Spirit will convict the believer of Apology to Guojing. But I still disagree with the part I put in red. How can one know they need a Saviour from sin if they don't know that they've sinned.

See Romans 3:20

NO it doesn't..........either ALL sins are forgiven or one is lost.....JESUS said.....IT IS FINISHED <----legal accounting term....PAID in full.....for a believer...where in abounds GRACE abounds the more....and GOD will CHASTEN when a believer walks contrary...he only WHIPS children....the ONLY SIN that = never saved is denying the work of CHRIST......UNBELIEF
No one who practices the sins of 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 will inherit the Kingdom. That is what he is saying. You cannot disagree with that without disagreeing with Paul

Forgiveness of sins doesn't give you a license to continue in them...such WERE some of you, but now you are washed, etc

Passage is discussing inheritance, not entrance. Big difference. As believers, if we continue to walk after the flesh, we forfeit our inheritance.

But the bible says we can’t do that So why do people keep saying we can?

Why do people continue to show they lack faith in God to change his own children like he promised he would?

And yet, those Corinthian believers continued to live in sin. Faith comes by hearing the word of God. Some believers just don't have the proper discipleship, home life, spiritual influences or even a bible. We need these things to grow and mature. Some don't and fall back into the ways of the world. Sad but true. Getting people saved is not enough. We must disciple.

1 John 3. He who sins has never seen or known God. Whoever has been born of God can not sin because he has been born of God.

If someone who sins like the world. Has never seen or known God, And if someone who is born of God can not sin like the world.

Then how can they call away and lose salvation?

They CAN”T!

A believer can't lose salvation but inheritance. This is why Paul warns those Corinthian believers about their rewards in chapter 3. Loss of inheritance and rewards, but no loss of salvation. Salvation is fixed, inheritance and rewards are based upon our labor for the Lord after salvation.

Faith is a living work necessary to commune between two minds . Christianity is it in respect to the mind of Christ revealed by the scriptures, prophecy. We are lovingly commanded to let His mind be in us by faith and shows us how..

Trying to divide the faith of Christ that he exercised towards the creature from the work of Christ's labor or love seems to be were many differ? The idea of separating faith from works can only lead to blaspheming the one Holy name of God.

The phrase in Hebrews 4 "mixing faith in them that heard it" is the key representing those that who did believe God. God giving them rest and comfort making their hearts soft. Again "mixing faith" using the temporal seen to reveal the unseen eternal hid .(2 Corinthian 4:18) It can help our anxieties in our hour of need.

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: ( Did not mix faith) Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts..Hebrews 4:1-8

Jesus' disciples, if they truly LOVE HIM, then they keep His Commandments -
they especially don't have 'egos' or any need to do their 'own will',
for they have been delivered from the 'desires of the world'...
