It is about believing the same EG. I agree with absolutely. We have had the same experience (actually pretty close to exactly since it was about 3 months later after conversion) that I received the baptism of Holy Spirit too. Is what he said about his experience.

I don't see where what you say about the baptism of Holy Spirit in the scriptures. And it's those who haven't experienced this who have different views. You would have to show me where, what you are saying. So far you haven't.
sis, If your did not get baptised by God at the moment of conversion. You never were saved. Because you never 3experienced Christs death and burial, and were not united with him in his death, and were never spiritually circumcised by the God

Now if you want to talk about some experience you recieved 3 months later after the HS gave you a gift. (3 months after he baptized and and was poured into you based on your faith) Now thats a different story.

Test The spirits dear brothers and sisters.

Time for another video. They don't like these videos because they shine light on the darkness. Watch, and test for yourself:

What are the benefits of the infilling of the Baptism with the Holy Spirit?
A genuine baptism with the Holy Spirit can only be totally beneficial from all points of view.

The Azusa St. Revival was without any doubt GENUINE and was enough to debunk cessationism. My denomination has its roots in that movement (through William H. Durham and Louis Francescon).

Louis Francescon, an Italian immigrant, was sent by God from Chicago to Buenos Aires (Argentina) and then to São Paulo (Brazil) in 1909. I've read his story many times and have crossed checked it with other sources. With very little money he accomplished a lot both in Argentina and in Brazil. In Argentina he was arrested because, through his gift, God healed many from various diseases and made a paralytic walk. In Brazil a group of "religious" people wanted him dead because he was "stealing" sheep from traditional churches.

My denomination was like the Azusa Street church for some decades. Believers would speak previously unknown national tongues like Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, ... , and were healed from terminal stage diseases. Today, sadly, miraculous cures are rare and the gift of tongues was replaced with gibberish. This is the downside of growing too fast -- our denomination has today over 20,000 church buildings.

What can I do now? Well, it's simple: Preserve what I already have (the Holy Spirit, which I received at baptism) and keep my heart open to receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit. The mere act of expecting the gift makes me feel good.

I could say the same thing back to you Eg and to UG and all that lurk in the not by works thread. You all follow Decon.

Macabeus is right about the mob rule there. You all descend on one who disagrees, not only there but in other threads.

Of course if I believe the same, I will agree.

HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAH You obviously do not know how many times we have disagreed and or exchanged a few words behind the scenes.....and what is tragic.......the second line is beneath you and false........this is twice now you have embraced and supported the one that was actually causing the strife......tragic for sure......!!

Whoa! Everybody, put your swords back in their sheaths.

May God have mercy on all of us and forgive us for any foolishness spoken against His Holy Spirit.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Silence our foolish words and thoughts and open our hearts and minds to Your Truth and Your Holy Spirit, in the Name of Yeshua/Jesus, amen.

Our Sword is the Word of God. We should NEVER sheath it:

Ephesians 6:17 New King James Version (NKJV)
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

But I do agree there has been much foolishness insulting the Holy Spirit.

The Sword has two parts - Word and Spirit. The Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God - two edges.

I’m not to slice and dice my brothers and sisters in Christ.

We are not to misuse The Word of God by speaking against the Holy Spirit, either.

The Word and Spirit agree and work together accomplishing the Father’s Will.

Peace to everyone on this thread and know that each of us are loved dearly by our Father in Heaven and He is longsuffering toward all of us, me included. Thank You, Father.

It’s okay to disagree but, let’s agree to not attack each other or the Holy Spirit.(y)

Who is attacking the Holy Spirit?
By speaking foolishly about the Holy Spirit-posting a video claiming manifestations are just like the occult’s..... people that made that video are like the religious leaders that called Yeshua/Jesus Beelzubub.

The Holy Spirit is such a controversial subject because we receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon us and is in us.

I can’t be an effective witness for Christ without the Holy Spirit.

Your words are very helpful, thank-you for helping to keep the peace in here.

Genuine baptism is not done with human hands using the temporal things seen water. (God is not served by human hands he can use a Ass to bring the gospel as he did with Balaam. ). The things seen represent the unseen things of the faith of Christ.

That would be a Genuine Azusa St. Revival tradition. A sign and wonders gospel . The sign of unbelief follows those who look to what some call sign gifts. (not a teaching of the bible)

Signs that follow confirming that those have believed God and therefore have passed from death to life showing they received the Holy Spirit is they can drink poison and it not affect them.

Have a person drink poison to try the spirts to see if they are of God . Then they will understand how to interpret parables searching as for a pearl for the hidden a spiritual meaning without murdering them selves. The same follows with the rest of the metaphors in Mark 15 or when John sent to ask if Jesus was the one. Blind see, death hear, lame walk by faith, etc .

Make sure the serpent anecdote is close. Snake venom can be painful.

A genuine baptism with the Holy Spirit can only be totally beneficial from all points of view.(no signs to view )

Without the Holy Spirit, I’d believe every lie of Satan as truth and live a life of bondage.

I’m so thankful, the Father in His mercy has given us His Promise- the gift of the Holy Spirit- The Spirit of Truth.

Just as the Word of God has no end, the Holy Spirit has no limit. Press in, have as much as you want.

We read, study and meditate on God’s Word daily - always desiring more. Do the same with the Holy Spirit- press in - why stay on the bank of the River when there’s an abundance of water to swim in!

Be refreshed and renewed every day - fully charged!

Enjoy the Holy Spirit and be thankful.(y)

I loved your post! I love your open heart to receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit!

Be blessed and filled abundantly with the precious Holy Spirit, in the Name of Yeshua/Jesus Christ, according to the perfect Will of the Father, amen!(y)

Did you watch the video? Do you think the people in that video are exhibiting the Holy Spirit?

If everyone who says they are exhibiting the Holy Spirit, no matter how outlandish their behavior, and doing things found NOWHERE in Scripture, why are we told to test the spirits because not all are from God?

How can you look at the bolded above and say this sis.

You seriously worry me, You can not find fault in ANYONE who believes as you do.
I merely point out your starting place.
Flawed.
You begin with an assumption.
I begin from my testimony.
The bible says " the righteous man judges all things, but he himself is judged of noone"
How do we judge rightly?
The Spirit of God in us with the Word of God authenticating.
It has to be authentic.
You have to ASSUME (painting yourself in a corner) that what we received came from the devil.
You have no other place to go with your ASSUMPTION.
That is your self imposed starting place.
You judge me to be of the devil. You HAVE to say that. That is PART OF your position.
Then you turn around and make a silly case that you are being judged.
Your position, your doctrine,is your starting place.
My starting place is what i recieved in 1977.
From where i sit, your judgement has zero merit.
You bat the wind. You have to twist Gods word to make it say what lines up with your instructors.
I have the high ground.
Nothing i say will convince you. It is a Spirit dynamic. Your teachers are mental.
I can not think of anyone in the bible(correct me if i am wrong) that refused the Baptism in the Holy Spirit by laying on of Hands.
Why? They wanted it.
I wanted it.
It is awesome.
Jesus said we needed it.
Why?
William booth said. "Power to walk the world in white, power to do what is right".
Jesus gave us the keys to the kingdom.
He gave us the great commission.
He gave us pentecost.
He gave us salvation.
He said "greater works than theses shall you do.

It is UNCANNY to me how you guys think the Baptism in the Holy Ghost is ceased.

UNCANNY.
