Answer the question I already asked, and you evaded, and I'll answer yours.

What can damn me, Mac?
I answered your question. you said you would answer mine.

You're a "willing slave" as you sin every single day as a choice.
First of all, you don't know if I sin every day as a choice.

Secondly, if I did, and if that made me a servant of sin, Romans 6:17 would not apply to me. and same is true of you.

Romans 6:17-
Romans 6:17- But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Notice the tense. I am not a servant of sin because I obeyed from the heart the doctrine that was delivered to me. The doctrine that you do not know rightly

Bud demonstrates how twisted and perverted his "sect's" doctrines are.

Like the one's who believe in "fruitless Christians" and Christians who do not perservere. (see Not of Works thread)

Christians being willing slaves to sin is unbiblical.

John 8: 34-35Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
Jhn 8:35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

Romans 6:17- But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. (notice the tense)

Romans 6:18- Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Romans 8:13- For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Matthew 6:24- No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

You better base your theology on BIBLE, not what you perceive or think you perceive in others.

Don't try to justify yourself by comparing yourself to me.

2 Corinthians 10:12- For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

Yep, you sure handled me Bud.

Very fitting verse. Loving service to God does not imply absolute perfection. Only Jesus was that. We are positionally perfect, making mistakes, but not living in a spirit of rebellion and haughtiness. Serve implies that our heart is right with God. The believer will hate sin, not brag about how much of it he can get away with.

What sin are we talking about?
Is this actually being a sinner or actual actions? Actions can be resolved, a loving
attitude taken on, an obedience and dwelling spiritually in Christ.

Praise God we have the victory in Him and His ways.

AMEN. What Budman fails to realize is that the definition of slave is "one who is owned by another and is bound and obligated to do the other's will. A christian is not owned by sin, is no obligated to sin, is not bound by sin.

A Christian is owned by Jesus, therefore a Christian is NEVER a slave to sin, even though he or she is not sinless.

Budman is trying to drag people down with his accusations. An accuser of brethren, he is.

Don't stop there...

Romans 8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8: 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Romans 8: 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Amen, I will accept that shoe. I am weak, but He is strong. That doesn't buy me the right to begin living in a state of active willful rebellion against Him, though.
Yep, the difference between grace and licentiousness.

God forbid any of us should turn grace into licentiousness. (see Jude 4)

Not saying Bud is doing that...

it is my understanding some folks here believe that if that happens?

then it means you were never a part of the body of Christ in the first place

now see how easy that is? no condemnation and no worries

in fact, some folks believe Hebrews should not be a part of the canon...not sure about anyone here, but I do know that some believe that
The first three lines you are talking about "perserverance of the saints". That is, those who are truly saved will perservere because they are kept by God. (not quite the same as OSAS, which often carries with it "easy believism")

That (perserverance through preservation) has been my positon here. I know some will disagree with me, but I will not attack their Christianity for it, like Bud and others attack people and question the genuineness of their christianity for disagreeing with them.

The last line...I think it is dangerous to remove books from the canon.

Bud is part of a sect that believe you can be saved and still be a slave to sin. They do not believe it is possible to be free from sin.

They deny Romans 6:17 and other passages
Freed from the act of sin or the eternal wage of those who violate the word of God? Are you hoping your flesh will count for something?

Freedom to not sin as a act will not be until we receive the promise our new incorruptible bodies in the new heavens and earth. As long as we live in these bodies of sin we will violate the commandment in unbelief. Christ cannot deny he paid the price in full. If any man says he has not sinned make God out to be the liar.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.1 John1:10

well, thank God for Paul's writings, and Johns, so eloquently written down for all of us,
Paul 'over-came' and WON his 'race', as he says,
11TIM. 4:7-8.
I have fought a good fight-(battle/struggle), I have finished my course, I have KEPT the Faith:

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which The Lord, The Righteous Judge,
shall give me at THAT day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.

REV. 2:7... very plainly tells us, 'That he that 'OVER-COMES' will:
To him will I give to eat of The Tree of Life -

shall not be hurt of the second death -

he that overcomes, and keeps My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: -

I will give him The Morning Star -

the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of The Book of Life,
but I will confess his name before My Father, and before his angels. -

21:7.
He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son.

REV. 2:5.
Remember therefore from whence (where-condition) you art fallen, and repent, and do the first works (acts-deeds); or else
I will come unto you quickly, and will remove (cause to go) your candlestick out of his place, except you repent. -
(change one's mind for the better - heartily to amend with abhorrence of one's past sins.)

And this is the victory that overcomes the world <----EVEN our faith

JESUS said he will BEGIN, FINISH and COMPLETE the work of faith in us and he will LOSE NOTHING, but raise it up the last day.

WOW.....pot calling the kettle black and rather hypocritical to say the least!!

You are the one who accused Argueless of something that he did not do. Here is IRREFUTABLE PROOF

Post 79036-Argueless- Are Ananias and Saphira saved or unsaved? Does scriptures say that no one will wander or turn away from the FAITH? If anyone wander or turn away from the FAITH which you CLAIM can ALONE save and DENY God, would that person still be saved?

Post 79,037-DC reply- What Jesus do you follow....not the one of the bible...Because the one of the bible starts, finishes and completes the work of faith in those that believe and then if they do not abide faithful he remains faithful to his promise to start, finish and complete the work....(clearly your answer to post 79,036 was YES)

Post 97,292- Argueless Go and know for yourself what dcon's stance is re: LYING TO THE HOLY SPIRIT... (in other words referring to post 79'037 where you said Ananais and Saphira were saved even though they lied to the Holy Spirit)

97,293 Dcon-Post 97,292- I have reported this post (97,292) for accusing me of LYING to the Holy SPIRIT......which I have NOT done...

ANYONE with a fourth grade reading comprehension level can see that there is no such accusation in post 97,292. He was speaking of your stance in post 79,037 in answer to the question of 79,036

The last post was a misrepresentation of Argueless. Argueless NEVER said DC was lying to the Spirit. He was speaking of his stance on the Holy Spirit.

Here are Argueless replies in that discussion for quick reference.

You are the biggest FALSE accuser around here.

Here is more evidence that Argueless did not say what you claim he said...

  1. Not By Works
Is asking for your stance on an issue an accusation? It is you who owe me an apology for this slander and deceitful provocations and accusations.

  2. @A
    Not By Works
So what is your stance about lying to the Holy Spirit? Edify the body of Christ and stop grumbling and man up. ...For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. 1 Corinthians 4:20
  3. @A
    Not By Works
All can see your way of suppressing the TRUTH. Show me where i accused you of lying to the Holy Spirit and I will SHAMEFULLY go away. IS asking for your stance on the issue an accusation?
  4. @A
    Not By Works
So what is your stance Mr. IDEA or is it Mr. RIGHT or whatever, about LYING TO THE HOLY SPIRIT? Is it the same as Budman's stance on the matter? Pls share us your amazing and irrefutable ideas for our information.
  5. @A
    Not By Works
Your defense tactic is getting old. I was not banned and I'm not a Catholic and I have said this before. If you cannot answer an honest question, do not resort to "ad hominem. It's a sign of weakness and cowardice. ...But the COWARDLY, the unbelieving, the vile, themurderers, the sexually...
  6. @A
    Not By Works
And you cannot give your stance about lying to the Holy Spirit because it will prove your doctrine as FALSE and DECEPTIVE.
  7. @A
    Not By Works
I can only discern the spirit through the spirit and not through the OSAS lens which CLAIMS to have a FAITH ALONE that ONCE and ALWAYS save them even if they would lie to the HOLY SPIRIT. YES, i was JUSTIFIED through FAITH(a LIVING Faith not DEAD) and I have a LIVING Hope that God will SAVE me...
  8. @A
    Not By Works
Ok since you want to be the authority in interpreting the scriptures using the MAN MADE OSAS LENS then maybe you could represent dcon who refuses to give his stance about lying to the Holy Spirit using the scriptures to prove your point and every OSAS followers point as a whole. And if everyone...
  9. @A
    Not By Works
That is why you cannot give your stance when asked about lying to the Holy Spirit which would prove your own FALSE DOGMA.

DEBATING SOMEONE's stance about lying to the HOLY SPIRIT is not the same thing as accusing them of lying to the Holy Spirit. Or did you not know what "stance" means?

If I get banned, I get banned. I am going to bring the truth again today.

More evidence that Argueless did not accuse you of lying to the Holy Spirit

  1. Thank you for the edifying reply as usual. So maybe i can get a response now as to your stance about lying to the Holy Spirit based on the TRUTH of thescriptures. Thank you in advance for an edifying response, i hope.
  2. @A

So what is your stance about lying to the Holy Spirit? Can you defend your stance?
  3. @A

So what is your stance about lying to the Holy Spirit? Did you agree to this post below by Budman or not? (the one where Budman said Ananais and Saphira were saved)
