when the stars fall from the sky and darkness berreffs the earth is when the new king of heaven is born who is saved by the angel and taken to heaven and he will rule with an iron sceptre. rev 12.
 
The stars fall from the sky at at the time of the Day of the LORD.. The king of kings was born near 2000 years ago and there will not be any other King taking His Place.. It is Jesus who will rule with a Rod of Iron..

Jesus said i do not judge anyone, there is another who judges and his judgement is sound, it is he who is to come that will judge

Stars in Revelation 12 and in Daniel 8 are angels. And angels are either messengers from God who illumine mankind with truth, or they are from the devil and illumine mankind with deception.
When the little horn casts heavens stars to the ground and stomps all over them (Daniel 8:10); he is casting the Lords angels truth to the ground (Daniel 8:12), and stomping all over it.

Daniel 8:10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down.

12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
