What kind of music makes you feel better?

When ya've had a long day and you bust it home what music do you put on to make you feel better?

What is your feel better music?

I love listening to modern praise and worship music, at any and all times, though I often sit in silence at home while the birds chirp outside. In my car when I tire of listening to Christian chat radio, which I have listened to for years, of late I have been listening to a CD of Patty Griffin's music that I compiled. My favorite song is called Shine A Different Way; I listen to it over and over :) However, more recently I am stuck on a verse from a different song, where she sings

May you dream you are dreaming in a warm soft bed
May the voices inside you that fill you with dread
Make the sound of thousands of angels instead
Tonight where you might be laying your head

She is an amazing artist with an incredible back catalogue of music which I had never heard before just over three years ago :)

I listen to mostly Christian artists. I find alot of times a song will play that ministers to my soul and encourages me. 😀
My daughter likes her Michael Jackson #1's CD and she recently got an 80's CD. I've been enjoying them too. I'm impressed that I still remember the words to so many songs!

It all depends on the current state of mind.
I have recognized that a song that uplifted me yesterday, just doesn’t work the same everyday.

Mostly 80’s, Alternative and Christian

I do however recognize that music has the ability to freeze time just like a photo sooooo, sometimes I will rewind the clock with some club music or FUN hip-hop (90’s stuff) I am a little careful with the hip-hop because some of the lyrics can pull me in the wrong direction.

When I'm looking to dance, work out, get things done I like Toby Mac and One Republic.

When I want quiet and to destress I listen to classical, new age classical, and lindsey Stirling.

When I want to hear God's voice I listen to sons of Korah.

I've been loving this song lately. This is a married couple from Costa Mesa California. Not really big in the music industry but they have led worship at my church.

I love classical music and I have a penchant for the harp at bedtime. It soothes like a gentle lullaby.

I like Christian contemporary, 70's classics, jazz, blues, folk, and classical. I play a lot of classical music on my flute, to challenge myself to play better, although I love to improvise with other musicians. I love to listen to classical music, too. I have a lot of classical music on my phone.

My husband gave me a set of expensive Bose headphones last year on points. I just love the sound quality, makes listening to music even better.

Interesting that she wants to trust in the seasons and the cycles and she no longer wants to trust in the "rusty nail". Rust is caused by oxygen and that is a cycle, we breath in and out, oxygen goes from our lungs to our cells and then back again. Even we are told that everything in the universe is connected in real time. I have had issues when I sleep and I have learned to put that time under the Blood so that God can use that time for His purpose.
