And He Will Lift You Up,

God always seems to be looking for the weak, the lonely
the tired and the poor. It seems He never chooses the
so called qualified but rather He qualifies the chosen. He
chooses David before the rest of the sons; David the
youngest and lowly to be King. Noah a very inconspicuous
character to build the ark. Over and over again. He didn't
choose the high priest or the head of the Sanhedrin rather
He sent His Son to the earth to teach and to save. There
was no one on earth more humble than Jesus. Then Jesus
walked around and chose the disciples who were low in
status and even Matthew, the hated tax collector. In fact in
most places Jesus exalted the lowly and made the lofty low.
I believe that the humble will always choose to accept Jesus
and come to Him and surrender to Him. It is the ones with
pride that will be knocked down not because God wanted it
that way, it is because the rich and the wise always seemed
to put themselves before God. So we who trust Him and have
faith in Him surrender to Him. Yes Lord we need you.

no one would ever want to come to the end of themselves, instead coming to the end of oneself is most likely forced by what God allowed to happen
