Thank you for your honest and respectable post.Look I always beleived that we all are who we are only because we were born in that faith,some keep it some leave it.But after thinking over and over one has to beleive that there has tobe One God otherwise human being with his vicious and evil nature would have killed each other and today the globe would have been a thick jungle with animals living in it.But this didn't happen.That in itself requires one to do research and choose faith.That is why I am here.I am not an arrogant man,not an uneducated man.Islam tells very clearly that people have a right to choose what they want.Islam is the only faith that says even jews and christians who believe in One God and do good deeds will go to heaven.Islam is the relgiion that was givne from Adam to Muhammad including Jesus may God's peace and mercy be on all of them.I can talk to anyone as long it is polite and based on reasoning and logic(including facts)But if you folks don't like this,then it is still good.But I know because I read a lot.I read QUran daily.I would recommend you also to please read Quran daily and other books.Yes convert others to christianity but you need knowledge and got to be polite.

Revelation for prophet hood has been not an easy trasformation for any prophet.we know Moses went to mountain to pick up flame and God asked him to throw his stick and that changed into snake so Moses got so scared that ran without even looking back.Prophet Muhammad was similarly confronted to situation that was not easy to handle,such a big transformation.But don't forget at that time Prophet Muhammad was not even a Muslim.

Why Did Uthman Burn Early Quran Manuscripts?
Why did Uthman need to burn the many original manuscripts of the Quran?
Because the many different manuscripts contained many discrepancies.
These different Qur’ans were a subject of study for early Islamic scholars. The Arabic librarian, Ibn Abi Ya’qub al-Nadim, made a famous catalogue of all the books in Arabic in the year 375 A.H./987 A.D that dealt with the topic of discrepancies in the different versions of the Quran existing then. He records seven books that dealt with this subject.
Books Composed about Discrepancies of the [Qur’anic] Manuscripts
“The Discrepancies between the Manuscripts of the People of al-Madinah, al-Kufah, and al-Basrah” according to al-Kisa’i.
Book of Khalaf, “Discrepancies of the Manuscripts”.
“Discrepancies of the People of al-Kufah, al-Basrah, and Syria concerning the Manuscripts”, by al-Farra.
“Discrepancies between the Manuscripts” by Abu Da’ud al-Sijistani.
Book of al-Mada’ini about the discrepancies between the manuscripts and the compiling of the Qur’an.
“Discrepancies between the Manuscripts of Syria, al-Hijaz, and al-Iraq”, by Ibn `Amir al-Yahsubi.
Book of Muhammad ibn `Abd al-Rahman al-Isbahani about discrepancies of the manuscripts.

These books detail hundreds of discrepancies; for example: different numbers
of surahs, surahs were arranged differently, different words for the same verse, etc.
There were Qurans with 110 surahs. And there were Qurans with 116 surahs. And there were Qurans with 114 surahs. What are these additional surahs? Which ones should be in the Quran and which one should not be in the Quran?
Who should make the decision? Muhammad? He was dead. Allah had been silent since Muhammad died.
Although Muhammad left behind teachers of the Quran like Ibn Mas’ud and Ubayy ibn Ka’b, the caliph, Uthman, chose to reject the Qurans of these teachers by burning them. Muhammad was no longer around to approve or disapprove of what he did.

Uthman did very big favor to truth by burning the copies that had been circulated world over.Why?Because when Islam got established the teaching started and students were coming from non Arabic speaking areas and learning Islam and they were writing Quran verses or hadith(sayings of prophet)or different aspects of Justice on same paper,or leather sheet,then going back and sometimes these writings got messed up due to rain or other natural factors and people could have been confused.Then some Muslims were writing in their accent.,eg.you say Joseph and Yousaf,both right but yousaf better,you write ottoman but in arabic we say uthman,in urdu we say usman.This could have lead people to confusion.So it was a very great work what uthman did.May ALlah reward him for this.But don't forget that there were the pople who were sitting in the committee compiling Quran were from the time of prophet Muhammad and there was total agreement in both the contents of Quran and language.No dispute not even for a dot or coma.The period between Muhammad and Uthman was short well observed and there was no disagreement among any of the members of committee.If this would not have been done then imagine today we would have been seeing problem.Today you go to any country and buy Quran in arabic and bring it and match it with others you will not find a differentce of even a dot or coma.Thank you Uthman for this.
The point is, the Quran is not unchanged as you dishonestly claimed. Can you at least acknowledge the truth of that?
Quran today is 100% what Muhammad taught us,was in museum and today available all over the world in book stores.
The reality is that you haven't a clue what was spoken by Muhammad; you only know what was distributed by Uthman. Your faith rests on your certainty that Uthman did not change anything. However, how could you possibly know?
You can't. All you have is belief, and you expect others to join you in that belief.
He should have just burned them all and not written a new one.
The world would be better off without the scourge of Islam.

Just because you have a book that tells lies about Jesus is not impressive, friend.
Why do you call Jesus good seeing that He says no one but God is good?
Jesus warned of false prophets and Paul warned anyone or anything teaching another Jesus, that they are cursed.
And he didn't change even a dot or come from what Muhammad taught because the committee of memorizes were all from the time of prophet.
Many Christians I have known including my self believe that the curse at the end of revelations is a permanent ban on any other holy books or additions to the bible.
So what? Mohamed is not in the bible so his words are opinions at best or he's a false prophet. There are no other books directly inspired by God through the holy spirit.
Look people believe many things more than half could be wrong.Quran challenges its readers to ponder,think,analyse.And says Quran is a criterion upon which u can judge the validity of other things.About Jesus there is written what Jesus himself said n taught not what church changed to as is said in Jeremiah 8:8.I invite u to read Quran translation yourself.
