I know, I specifically was answering calibobs question in regards to the 8th day of creation... the bible does speak of an 8th day... with moses as well...

In regards to the 8th day of creation, no the bible does not speak of it specifically.

Oh, sorry. 😇

As I said. Get a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and go through every reference to Adam.

But since you are not familiar with Adam as a name I will give you just one verse to prove that you are wrong:

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. (1 Cor 15:45)

No honest person can deny that "Adam" is used as a name here. But there are other verse also.
Adam means man, Jesus is the second Adam, but it is not his NAME!

Throughout the Bible a younger son userps the older and take his inheritance. Cain, Able & Seth. Isaac & Ishmael, Jacob & Esau. Even David who was adopted by King Saul took his step brothers inheritance and became king, followed by Solomon usurping Absalom. As we the adopted children of God and being gentiles have taken the inheritance of the first chosen people, the Jews. This is no accident. Adam was a son of God, made not born but Jesus has taken his place and inheritance. I take it as a warning. We can be replaced.

I believe in the First Earth Age because

when God is questioning Job in Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and ALL the sons of God shouted for joy? I have not found a better explanation, when God is telling us that He witnessed us ALL TOGETHER?

when God is describing the "Dinosaur with the tail like a cedar tree" I meant "Behemoth" we have not had them in the past 6000 years, since ADAM and EVE were formed and science says they are much older, I do not have another explanation

When I realized Satan was ALREADY BAD in the garden of Eden, and Satan had been called Lucifer a protecting cherubim and made the full pattern by God, there was a whole life before that point.

Also, in Isaiah where GOD does state MOST INFATICALLY at 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
and he turns right around and in Gen 1:2 to state "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters"?

And that this, without form and void EARTH God starts out working with in the beginning of this age, can be no other that the one He rendered basically dead, yet not a full end to from before.

This also, NOAH was ALIVE, in the ark and with family for that flood, where day and night still existed, the flood that was to rid the earth of the fallen angels and their offspring

which is in direct conflict with

Jeremiah 4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

THERE WAS NO MAN, let alone a woman and THE HEAVENS HAD NO LIGHT, and that sounds just like Gen 1:2 which would mean that this had to have happened BEFORE because it certainly hasn't happened since,

and put together with

2 Peter 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2 Peter 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Leaves no other possibility.
Lets just look at one of your point (that should be enough to show issues with all you said)

The behemoth

God said look at it.. Which means in the day God spoke of this, that creature walked the earth.

The flood took out most of those creatures. The ones who were carried on the ark could not survive a post flood ecology.

It is things like this which when I actually sat down to study, came to mind and caused me to repent about my belief

Because of things like this

Hebrews 5:10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
What does this have to do with the thought moses wrote the 5 books (torah)????

However our Salvation can not be replaced or lost. I don't know what happen to those who choose the here and now over riches in glory. But that decision can not be made by accident so I wouldn't call it lost but discarded. The price the Jesus paid for our souls wasn't cheap. The decision is his and his alone.

You think there were dinosaurs on this earth with Adam and Eve? You think the earth was hit by the asteroid and the Ice Age happened sometime in the last 8 thousand years? You don't think all life on the planet went completely extinct?

Behind such dates there are unbiblical (or even anti-biblical) presumptions about the nature of earth's history. There also is a lot of pseudo-science such as radiometric dating, which is full of unprovable assumptions.
Amen, It does not prove a thing, because no one was there, it is based on assumptions not in evidence as they say.

Peter says it well.

2 Peter 2: 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.

Which is NOT true, but all scientific evidence is prety much based on this fact (radiocarbon dating)

And them peter explains why it is not true

5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and [b]perdition of ungodly men.

That world perished in the flood. Nothing of it is left. Except for the fossil record which was left after the flood.

its why we have people demanding a local flood theory or there there was no flood at all. Or it was just a rainly day, not a catostrophic event which changed the earth and our own solar system forever.

Whe
6500 B.C. The oceans and sea rises. England is now cut off from Europe by land.
8,000 B.C. Adam & Eve
6,500 B.C. The area where the 4 rivers used to converge at the Garden of Eden had became the Persian gulf.
Where did you get these stats from Bro?

By the way, I do not think the world. Even the middle east looks anything like it did pre-flood. Even the rivers and moutains look different. In fact, the flood caused alot of them, .

Jesus did what adam could not do.

It was his plan

In adam, all fall - In adam, all are condemned. This had to be, so in Christ all could be made alive

Could “cave man” have been the offspring from Genesis 6? Wiped away by the flood.
Or could cave man be men and women who were scattered when God confused the languages and spread them throughout the earth?

Remember, Technology died with the flood. Only Adam and his sons knowledge came through it. Not everyone would have the skills to produce a society, And who is to say when God split the nations that all of the groups had this technological skill to live and build. Many of them most likely lived in caves..

Hi Stones...
Did you know that boys when born have something in their penis that if they bled from the day before the 8th day , they would bleed to death ...The blood clots after the 7th day , I found that really interesting why God made it the 8th day , but I did read it , so I am not stating it as truth , maybe something to look in to...xox...
Interesting!

It is amazing that many of Gods laws are not just God demanding, But god knowing us intimately and giving us guidelines so we do not hurt ourselves.

Numbers 29: 35 On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein:

So I got curious and found references from sin offerings to purification festivals to the menorah on the 8th day.

The Mishkan was a microcosm—a cosmos in miniature. Thus Genesis begins and Exodus ends with stories of creation, the first by G‑d, the second by the Israelites. The eighth day is when we celebrate the human contribution to creation.

The dinosours were not destroyed by a meteor. They were killed by the flood. And the environment after the flood, which could no longer sustain them. There are still ones on the earth today.

And no. 8 people were saved, and 2 of every kind of animal were saved.

Thank you.

What? Can you please be more specific
I am not sure if it is possible to be more specific in these questions
1. DO you believe that dinosaurs walked the earth at the same time as ADAM and EVE did?
2. Do you believe the Ice Age happened WITHIN the last 8000 years?
3. Do you believe that ALL life on planet earth has ever COMPLETELY perished?

I do not believe what is in bold.

Thus you are misunderstanding my belief, If you continue to think this is what I believe, you will never be able to comprehend what my belief is
