OK, so they had children out of wedlock. That is important how?
How do you get that they had children out of wedlock? He made love to his WIFE. It does not say he met her there or married her there or any such thing, only that they had sexual relations there as man and wife, and she conceived and bore a son. The city Cain built was named after that son (Enoch).

I get it from what you said

"The Bible does NOT say that Cain met and married his wife in Nod. It says he "knew her" there (which means they had sexual relations there) and she conceived and bore a son, whom they called Enoch and named the city he built after. The Bible says Cain built the city there, not people who were already there. "

So why the red cross for something you said?

And how is it relevant to the age of the earth. We are already agreed there were other well established people in addition to the Adam family.

Do you see that word I enlarged? Wife? Yes, I was talking about Cain's WIFE. Do you see it now? I am sorry I cannot make it any larger for you, as that is the maximum font size allowed. Since Cain made love to his wife in Nod, I did not in any way, shape, or form, say, insinuate, or imply that Cain and his wife had children out of wedlock. That is all on you. Cain made love to his wife in Nod. It does not say he met her there. It does not say he married her there. In fact, the Bible does not say anyone at all was there (besides them), and it says Cain built the city. Can you acknowledge the basic facts?

Sorry, you are wrong. The Bible does speak of other people.

Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

We are talking about Nod. It does not say anyone was there when he arrived, besides Cain and his wife and then his family after his wife conceived and bore a son. I am sorry you are having such a hard time following the line of conversation, which started with you saying people were already in Nod when Cain got there. The Bible does not say anyone was there. The Bible does not say he met his wife there. The Bible does not say he married his wife there. Can you acknowledge the basic facts?

I said they were married initially and you pulled me up by putting the emphasis on their physical relationship. See below.

.

Anyway, this has nothing to do with the actual age of the earth, but it does tell us there were other well established people with a legal system that required the death penalty for murderers, and that does not happen overnight. They had a priesthood also and we know they were pagans because verse 16 tells us "Cain went out from the presence of the LORD"

And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. (Gen 4:16)

You got things wrong and blamed me, and for that I shall give you a red cross. There was no need for the argument.

It all happened in the land of Nod, his wife was already there and they were an advanced society. Neither does one family build a walled city for themselves only.

And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD (pagans), and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. (Gen 4:16-17)

Besides which walled cities are late in human history. Quite recent really, Norman times in England. City of York for example, around 1300 AD from memory. Proving the Bible is set in the Bronze Age and the Adam family were a Bronze Age people. Thank you for the opportunity to make the point.

You claimed there was a walled city when Cain arrived in Nod. There was no need for an argument, but you repeatedly refuse to acknowledge basic Biblical facts, and blame me for your misunderstanding, not even being able to follow the conversation. Somehow you say that is my fault? I thought you were more reasonable than that. I was wrong there, I will give you that.

Cain was the son of Adam and they were living in the Bronze Age. End of.

The Bible does not say anyone was in Nod when Cain arrived. The Bible does not say Cain met his wife there. The Bible does not say Cain married his wife there. You refuse to acknowledge basic Biblical facts. There was no walled city mentioned, when Cain arrived in Nod. Cain built a city there. But again, you refuse to acknowledge basic Biblical facts.

Another one of your false accusations. In the first post of yours that I responded to regarding Cain and Nod, I isolated your second point because you stated things as if they were Biblical facts which are not in the Bible. No other people are mentioned as living in Nod when Cain arrives (besides his wife). You refuse to acknowledge this. It is not said that Cain met his wife there. You refuse to acknowledge this. It is not said that Cain married his wife there. You refuse to acknowledge this. No walled city is mentioned as being in existence in Nod when Cain arrived in Nod. You refuse to acknowledge this. You have repeatedly refused to admit the truth of what I say.

2. When Cain went to Nod, he built a city there and named it after his son who was conceived there. Click! <- link :)

The Bible does not mention the land of Nod again. It does not say any people were there before Cain at all.

They were all contemporariness. Adam and Eve had Seth the same time all these people were living in Nod.

Gen 4:16-26
(16) And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
(17) And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
(18) And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
(19) And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
(20) And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
(21) And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
(22) And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.
(23) And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
(24) If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.

(25) And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

(26) And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

"All these people" you mention living in Nod are Cain's descendants. It is the height of irrationality to claim they were living there when Cain first arrived in Nod.

Those people were living the same time as Adam and Eve.

You will notice they were playing musical instruments. Now it is an accepted fact that Adam and Eve were living about 6000 years ago and it is claimed they were the first people ever. So tell me, how come people were making musical instruments. tens of thousand years ago?

I will take the red crosses.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
These are the 6th day PEOPLES. All the different "ethnos" if you carefully study this day and the 8th day God is quite sure to make the events very different from each other MALE AND FEMALE CREATED TOGETHER

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. This is the 8th day in which the BLOODLINE through which Christ would come is started. It had to be on a separate so as not to get confused and to keep the perfect genealogy for the sake of prophecy.

So the 6th day "peoples" were around 2 (I say that to not get into the "day" debate again) "days" in which much of the world was being populated.

To claim that Cain married someone from his family is ADDING mans thoughts as that is not written. God wrote as He wrote and we are to seek out the similar and the dissimilar details to arrive at truth.

Adam was formed and then after Naming all the animals, would take us a day to just list them, Eve was taken from Him.

So red cross away. But it is GODS TRUTH.

God gives answers. Men create questions.

6th day - all the different peoples created. All colors. All equal. All very good.

8th day Gods chosen Bloodline and story line for prophecy.

Where did all the races come from. God
Why did Cain need a mark if everyone was "family" Because they weren't family
Who did Cain marry. Someone from the 6th day
Why do cultures date back to the same time. Cause all made at same time
Why are the descriptions between the two days so different? Cause they are different events.

Why is there no written or picture "history" about a "NEW COLOR PEOPLE" showing up? if there are black, brown, red, yellow, white, there should have been 4 times that a "new race" began. Was it just one couple had one baby completely different at the same time another one did, so those got together and started a new one? And did that happen 4 different times and no one ever thought to write about it, ever? And why did it stop? Shouldn't we have greens and purples by now?

The same problem with evolution is the same problem here. It doesn't stop.

And I do believe the first 7 days were thousand year days, and the 8th day started the 24hr day.

Just look at the words God used. I take the differences and believe they are meant to be different, Some look at the differences and say " its an explanation" even though God doesn't say its an explanation. God doesn't seem to have a problem with explaining when He wants to. One way answers questions, the other creates more.

So Adam (and Eve) were formed 6,000 years ago in the area of modern Israel - two people
Then there was the great flood that Bible fundamentalists claim wiped out ALL of humankind worldwide bar eight people -
some 4,300+ years ago:
So how do we get from being a Semite (Aryan) to all the other human groups or races or kinds that now inhabit this planet
in a mere 4,000+ years?

View attachment 200239 View attachment 200240 View attachment 200241
Are Bible six days fundamentalists now preaching Darwin and evolution??
Sure seems that way ...
Ever heard of DNA?

Who do you think wrote it?

And who do you think put each possible genome which represented all the races in said DNA?

Remember, All mankind came from Adam and Eve, Noah and his sons already had mixed human groups.

There is an excelent book whihc explains this in great detail. Science also shows mankind has come from one father, and one mother, Amazingly, the mother and father pair did not even live in the same period of time.

With God, All things are possible. I mean think, How many pair of the dog specie was on the ark. Yet in 4000 years. How many different breeds of dog and types do we have today? Even the last 100 years has seen MANY a different type being made,
