Oh I hope that went private. That was such a genuinely disturbing interaction.

The thread just got off-topic a bit. No worries. A flaw I have is lack of faith that God can make the impossible possible. More even still, the impossible to us is easy for Him to do. Maybe God is just waiting for us to ask in simple childlike faith. Never doubt the omnipotence of our Father. We serve a big, big God!:)

Flaw?

What is this "flaw" concept you speak of?

;)

We all have habits, hangups and hurts. Some are mental, some are physical. We must turn the negatives in our lives into positives to fully connect with the positivity of God( or so I think)! Plz feel free to disagree. We can let these overcome us or we can overcome them thru God!🙏

Surley you know He makes us flawless, but we ARE flawed. We were under original sin unto Jesus covered our sins by His precious blood!🙏

I was just adding some humour. I have many flaws. God has seen fit to alert me to some of them, and even given me grace to overcome a few. :)

If our willpower was the answer, Jesus did not need to leave Heaven and be Crucified on the Cross Calvary where the victory was won. No man/woman can fix the flesh with the flesh (Zech. 4:6). We make laws believing that our works can please God.

Now the just shall live by Faith (Faith placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and the Finished Work at Calvary Cross): but if any man draw back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:38

Our Temple is built through Grace by Faith (Faith placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and the Finished Work at Calvary Cross).

i often think about doing things, and then neglect to do them - it's as tho having thought about them, sorted out how to go about them, i consider them a 'solved problem' because i've proved to myself that 'a solution exists' so then i don't expend any more energy on them.

I can be a pessimist, which sometimes is not a great thing. But there are times it comes in handy.

I'm prone to sabotage, how can I possibly be proud of this weakness?

Is this a flaw or willful? This is negative,I agree. Ppl need love...and we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Turn the sabatouer in you to defeating the devil. When you see him in actions such as gossiping sabotage or reverse it by praise. We ALL are our OWN worst enemy,we sabotage Gods goodness in our live too. We must be self-aware to combat this!🙏

Talking too much.

I'm pretty sure this is being slowly worked out of me because I am more judicious about certain topics and no longer go with the phrase "I don't think I should talk about/tell you...but..." and then proceed to illuminate a potentially dangerous topic just because I have the information/insight. Fortunately I do FAR less of that and the opportunities rarely come up anymore :)

I've also felt a stout bit of condemnation/criticism from myself about it. There was a time I felt like even the Lord wanted me to "talk less" and it felt kind of harsh...but I get it. There is a time and a place for certain things. Sometimes not at all. If you talk people to death it turns them off.

I had a dose of it on the other side and I while I am also a pretty patient listener it can be exhausting if you are just listening to a massive string of someone's stream of consciousness.

So I'm on the fence on whether it's a flaw or not but definitely a learning process.

Sin appears to be a flaw however since this is BDF.
It's something that I am at a loss to explain. I understand the fall is what brought it in but even among righteous men (or those imputed righteousness) the flaw/anomaly still exists. Its power may be broken or defeated in the life of a believer but as a construct its effects are still felt. Kind of like spiritual grime (like being dirty and needing a bath)... Would be an interesting discussion...

even prayer request forums and testimony forums have flaws
even if we don't see those flaws yet
