I know it does but you need to take the whole Bible and the Prophecies in it not just one verse from the NT. The whole unbelieving world will follow the Beast but the headquarters of the Beast is in Jerusalem not Vatican City, Mecca or Washington Its there that abomination of desolation is set up and its there where the attention of the world will be. I would think that this subject had been done to death on this site without having to spell it out.

You have certainly done your homework!! From my view the Beast/Antichrist has to present himself as being Jewish. This is the
the key issue because he presents himself as their Messiah. It is irrespective as to where he comes from. He could be living next door to one of us! :)

Who says he presents himself as jewish messiah?

How can a jewish messiah commit an abomination that causes desolation? Any jew with any particular knowledge of the law would know the messiah would not defile the inner sanctuary with an idol!

Or maybe, Considering he is the final roman leader of the final gentile empire which will be crushed by Christ, His headquarters is somewhere in rome?

Can someone show me one muslim nation that has any particular influence, or even the ability and knowledge to influence the world?

They are one of the most splintered factional religions on earth, Their root is based on Hate, of anything that does not follow them, Their rule of law is being imposed here in the united stated, A few cities in michigan has enacted sharia law (and it is not going over very well)

Yet people think this splintered, fractioned, hateful religion is going to offer the world peace? Gain control of the world finances? Have an army so powerful it takes over the world? Can last for 3.5 years in a peaceful honest and integral way, Even ALLOW the jews to rebuild the temple in jerusalem?

I mean come on people. THINK!!

They are mentioned in prophecy, Not as the beast, But as an ally of the king of the north. Who comes against jerusalem and is destroyed by the hand of God.

In my opinion. Any man who has the power to bring peace between islam and Jew, and opens the door for jews to rebuild their temple. Will be received with open arms.

Unless the bible gave it characteristics it did not mean to give it. And thus made error concerning its prophecy.

When it happens, a catostrophic event which can be classified as supernatural will leave possibly millions of bodies left dead outside jerusalem. Dead not by the hands of men, but the hand of God.

I have looked in history. It never happened.

According to the popular interpretations the Antichrist makes a seven year covenant with Israel and then after three and a half years
breaks it and sets up the abomination of desolation in the Temple. By then the strong delusion would have already happened so whether anyone had a particular knowledge of the Mosaic Law would make no difference. One of the key beliefs of Judaism today is that the temple will be rebuilt only by the Messiah . This belief is not from the Bible but from the Talmud . That consists of 20 volumes containing of the ramblings of various Rabbis going all the way back to the Pharisees, remember them? and includes the Kabbalah

Well scripture says he makes a covenant with many, Not just Israel.

Which means he would have to make some agreement between Jew and Muslim.

I just can not fathom any jew having that power. Considering the HATE between these brothers.
