Where would you spend your free time with someone you were interested in?
Free time is relative...Where would you spend your free time with someone you were interested in?
Some of that depends on what the "someone special" thinks. But maybe a walk or hike or sitting on a porch watching a thunderstorm. I do like being home though.Where would you spend your free time with someone you were interested in?
Tam, I have to disagree about the deck, unless it has a roof (then it's a porch) or has a lot of shade. Where I live it can be like sitting on a griddle!I love being out on my deck. The breeze, the rustling trees, a teeny water view, the birds, the gurgling of my neighbors pool that sounds just like a creek when you close your eyes.
It's a lovely place to be alone or with someone special.
I'd rather spend it alone at home.
Yay for solitude!
Every time this topic comes up I can't think of anything better than the way Sara Groves put it...
And I wish all the people I love the most
Could gather in one place
And know each other and love each other well
And I wish we could all go camping
And lay beneath the stars
And have nothing to do and stories to tell
We'd sit around the campfire
And we'd make each other laugh remembering when
You're the first one I'm inviting
Always know that you're my friend
And at the risk of wearing out my welcome
At the risk of self-discovery
I'll take every moment
And every minute that you'll give me
I like the beach especially at sunset when there is no breeze and you are sitting on the shore eating fish and chips and having a cappuccino, you can't beat it!

But the rest sounds nice.

Hmm I kinda like being home.
I suppose it depends on the occasion really. Some of my favorite places have been anywhere outside, libraries/book stores and picnics.
Going Home (to my hometown) for our annual family reunion over 4th of July week... There is no better place in the world than to be with loved ones - among people who love you unconditionally and show you how much they genuinely care about you - that you do matter.Free time is relative...
- getting to know someone you are interested in means spending time just being together over lunch, dinner, walks in the park, picnics, nature walks, star gazing.
- spending time with someone in an established relationship means simply spending time in the comforts of home cooking together or for each other, watching marathons of movies or common interests in TV shows or listening to some good ol music...
- additionally, mutually supporting productive time could be spent together - working together helping each other out around each others homes on routine cleaning, maintenance or home improvement projects...
